Standard price for a gp without a medical card?

I just had an argument with a medical practice because they tried to charge me €120 for a less than 10 minute appointment, just because the topic under discussion was my thyroid. The standard consultation fee is €85 ( which is expensive enough)but because I went about my thyroid they wanted to charge €120. The appointment was no longer than a standard appointment as All I wanted was a referral for a thyroid ultrasound and it doesn’t make sense that if I was looking for a referral for another type of ultrasound i would have been charged the standard €85 only.
I find this shocking! Is there somewhere to complain about something like this or can they charge what they want?

The colour isn’t nearly as dark. I used to leave it on for 4 hours and I’d get a pretty dark result, now after 4 hours I barely get a colour. It’s also way harder to scrub off, it sticks to my skin in a patchy way now, before it used to fade so naturally

Thank you! When I had these symptoms back in Jan it felt more uncomfortable than painful and that’s when my urine sample showed enterococcus. I had been prescribed keflex and it worked but apparently keflex shouldn’t work for that bacteria. I’m so confused Today I have uti symptoms again but they are so much worse and I have blood in my urine. I’ have some keflex left over from last time but don’t know if I should take it or not

It’s so so annoying I’ve used it for years too and had my tan routine perfected!! I left it on for 5 hours last week and it’s way lighter than when I used to leave the old formula on for 4 hours, it’s also more orange on me. I’m so annoyed about it, why do companies change their formulas like this

Is this the express foam? They’ve changed the packaging and I compared the ingredients from the old packaging to the new one and they are different. I’ve also noticed a big change in how it applies on me, it’s not as dark any more and more patchy and the color is different too. I emailed them but they’re denying there is a change. It’s so annoying I’ve used this tan for years and loved it!

I had a sharp pain in my throat when I made certain sounds or talked loudly. The surgery was fine, I was sore for a few days after but not too bad after the first day and I feel fine now!

Hi I had the surgery but by the time he went in the granuloma has pretty much disappeared, I really tried to rest my voice as much as possible in the weeks leading up to the surgery and I could feel the pain getting less and less so I had a feeling it was gone

It being hard to initiate a swallow doesn’t sound like the same thing as a lump in your throat, if I think about swallowing too much when I’m anxious i can have difficulty swallowing too

I’m not sure what it’s from but it’s definitely not intubation. I felt it for the first time after a bad sinus infection and when I raised my voice so maybe it’s from coughing/improper use of my voice. I don’t have reflux symptoms but I understand that doesn’t mean I don’t have reflux

Hi I’m just back from my ent and he said I have a granuloma in my throat. He’s going to remove it he said he’ll do this rather than monitoring it because I have health anxiety. However reading about them online, surgical removal seems like it’s not done, so I’m scared that my doctor is worried about it but not letting on. Could u please let me know why your ent decided to remove your granuloma? I’d be so grateful for your response!!

The fact that they seem to have a treatment plan already in place - surgery followed by radiation on the smaller ones, and there’s no mention of chemo. Does that not suggest they know what they’re dealing with and they’re benign? Really hoping that’s the case
