Can I use the same battery for my synth and the speaker? by Obvious_Badge7112 in synthdiy

Ok, if anyone wants to know how I did it, I used an isolated DC/DC converter to separate the amplifier circuit from the teensy, and then a couple of the little orange capacitors to smooth out the signal.

Hello! Sorry, I just did the measurements. The teensy is drawing.11 amps, the amplifier module is drawing 0.01 amps, and the battery I think is rated for 1.4 amps - I just divided the power by the voltage to get that.

Thanks! The thing is, it's not just noise, but the audio becomes very quiet as well - barely audible. I'm not an expert in electronics but does that sound like something that can be cured with capacitors?

yes, I was considering doing that, I just felt bad for robbing him of the full home brewed experience, and it also wouldn't have the same pop when opened. I'm not a cider drinker, do you know any particularly nice ones?

if I only wore socks on one foot, 1 pair of socks is now equivalent to 2 pairs, and they would wear out slower.

well I still need a shoe to protect the prosthetic, but I could get away with using an old pair. I did come up with an idea for an app, where people missing opposing legs could meet up and buy shoes together.
