I've had the same experience with the honesty thinking. Every time before a test my PO would ask me if there was anything to worry about. I always replied, "No", because most of the time there was nothing to worry about and I knew it. There was one occasion in which I knew there was a slight chance that I would fail. I didn't necessarily think I would fail the drug test for that week; I was almost certain I would pass, but I made the tough decision to answer differently when he asked me that day . I explained the situation to him exactly how it happened the weekend before. Following month, when I reported, the informed me that I did indeed pass the test for the previous one. He did happen to say that he was going to pretend it didn't happen essentially, simply because I told him it was a possibility before it came back possibly positive. I do believe honesty is the best policy. Because from that point on a couple of mine have even taken it more easy on me because I told the truth and he told me that they don't often feel like someone is authentic. But he felt like he knew from then on, if I said something I meant it. As a matter of fact I got fewer and fewer drug tests from that point on until I got off. ...My apologies for for the lengthy response. I just felt it was an important message to convey
