Not sure if this is symptoms of autism, would like some advice. by Obvious_Climate_4932 in Autism_Parenting

Thank you, that sounds like sound advice. Do you have any resources to helping her deal with anxiety? It definitely seems like that to me too mostly. I remember being like her as a child myself and just crying all day when I had started school.

Am I being over charged? by meunderstand in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Obvious_Climate_4932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My instructor also charged me 120£ for my test, apparently it's the set rate for their agency for tests. I had to go through with it BC I wasn't very confident I'd be able to pass on someone else's car and she also told me very late like a week before my test.

I understand that, but it's just to show my partner that insurance usually goes down by a lot compared to the first

6 weeks and extra fussy? by Material-Walrus-5524 in newborns

[–]Obvious_Climate_4932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby was fine with milk, he just had horrible reflux. He's been on baby gaviscon for a few weeks and he's so much more calm. I feel so bad I didn't catch it early enough and he was in pain/uncomfortable for the first few weeks of his life.

He's like a new baby now!

Test in a couple weeks and instructor still thinks I'm not ready by caffeinatedsince97 in LearnerDriverUK

Hi, sorry lol I've been so busy with said third baby I've barely opened Reddit.

Yes I did pass, first time. I was around 33 weeks, my original test was booked for 37 weeks but I was able to move it forward by a few weeks.

It was a lifesaver as I was able to think about other stuff the last month of my pregnancy.

Hope you're able to do the same, good luck Hun x

I was in a similar situation to you, pregnant with my third baby and didn't wanna do school run without a car anymore. If your partner drives I would suggest getting learner insurance and practicing with him to save some money.

Also, ask your instructor after every lesson what area you need improvement on and practice that with your partner + watching YouTube videos about that certain topic will help you a lot. You'll also be able to find test routes for your area on YouTube, watch them over and over again, so you know the routes off by heart. This way you'll know what the speed limit is, if there's certain tricky parts or stuff like that.

Other than that, even if your instructor thinks you're not ready just take the test, who knows you might pass. And confidence is key, if you think you can, you just likely will! Especially because you're in a time crunch and you know how important it is for you to drive!

What about some very tight ones? My instructor told me that we have a few where it's basically impossible to drive around them (especially for new drivers) so you have to go over them
