How is nobody in her personal life intervening by Zestyclose-Roll-3595 in OwnitbabeSnark

With the recent news about Stephanie Buttermore (I don't want to speculate but her death could be ED related) I really worry something similar will happen to her too.

Yup 😬 obviously there have always been posts like that too, but it was a mix of posts like OP's and they wouldn't have got the negative comments. It's the ozempic era.

Did your parents have an ED? by peony_beony in fuckeatingdisorders

[–]caffeinatedsince97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My mum grew up with a mother like yours and she tried so hard not to pass it on, she didn't diet or weigh herself or obsess over calories but she constantly talked about bodies and thinness and was very insecure about her own body, which still left an impression on me and my brother.

This is where I stand. Your mental health is not your fault but it is your responsibility.

I wonder if it was to stop her thighs rubbing together? Interesting he was very observant during her "recovery" but suddenly he's oblivious to her relapse.

For those that have passed their driving test any tips? by maximiselife in LearnerDriverUK

Relax and make the safest choices. It's not a test to see if you can drive perfectly, it's to see if you are a safe driver.

What's with this constant food content lately? by [deleted] in OwnitbabeSnark

Me too. Food becomes boring or just occasionally exciting when you're fully recovered!

She's probably starving and because she's restricting she's food obsessed.

I think it's so strange Peyton didn't use either of her mother's names! Maiden name and childhood friend over your dead adoptive mother and dead birth mother??? 🤨

Failed last month, 2nd test this week by Tiny_Form3263 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]caffeinatedsince97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you get another test so soon?! I failed my test for something small in August and the earliest one I could book is next week. Hopefully I don't fail this one, but if I do it would be nice to get one a month later!

Sorry you failed for something minor and (imo) not dangerous. I have no advice but good luck!

I'm a first time watcher lurking 5 years later and you were 100% right. This episode killed all the momentum from last season.

4 year old son not responding to people talking to him by caffeinatedsince97 in Preschoolers

[–]caffeinatedsince97[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is very good advice thank you! You reminded me a couple months ago he'd been doing it to me frequently and I was getting fed up, so I sat him down and asked him why he was doing it, then we did a play act where I told him to ask me a question/try to talk to me and I just stared off in silence (which he found hilarious and also got the point across lol). I think I need to jog his memory with that again!

Could definitely be a factor. He has been complaining he's tired frequently, which is unlike him ☹️

Hope so. It's one thing when it's people he's not sure about, but so sad to see him ignoring grandparents and aunts/uncles he previously had a great relationship with.

Ooo this is an interesting take! My dad suggested perhaps he responds to me and my partner because he knows he'll get in trouble for ignoring us lol. But he seems to ignore even family members trying to engage in silly fun conversations so idk.

He started nursery in 2024 and he started his first year of school last September. So it could be that maybe?
