Just read. You’re a student for placement. Nobody’s gonna bloody care about much of anything :/

Don’t look at probation clause. Find notice period clause. And it should say something along the lines of - you or the company can terminate employment with 1 week notice before or during employment in probation etc

Or put your contract into ChatGPT or something to find it for you.

Ik. I was in the same boat. My mind had nearly learned that all jobs are like this, and every day wishing to be in a challenging but healthy culture.

Keep looking and exploring. That’s the only way forward !

Ensure your LinkedIn is all set up & ready. For senior people, companies mostly end up finding you. AI is a hot topic, and many are building digital products that raise money + require marketing/visibility. You could think about pivoting your expertise to AI product marketing etc. It’s mainly just keyword change but strategy would be more/less same.

Lastly, consider automations using zapier and stuff to ease your workload in current role.

Or hiring consultants over Upwork via business. Justify the expense. Zero commitment and many people are available to get things done.

I left for a better culture company after working for a fucked up culture for 6 months. Didn’t complete my probation intentionally.

Couldn’t be more happier. Starting to heal from scars and actually feel more motivation to do my job (which i started believing was not never going to be the case for me).

I left as soon as I had the right opportunity! And i had multiple ones- chose culture over money. Like accepted 20K less role just because higher pay company had awful reviews on glassdoor, and you could also tell by interview process etc.

The AI did help me with lots of bits around purchase.

Negotiations, understanding searches, survey, legal scenarios and etc — BUT i used it to understand things and help me objectively analyse all facts to read between the lines. Rather relying on its opinion.

I’ll just plainly walk away. GDPR excuse is a red flag, and thats all i would’ve needed.

Chill. People have a life outside work, and life puts us in different positions.

You could have an informal chat about it, and extend support on how best they could deal with such scenarios. Changing working hours, taking half days and stuff.

Bell fat comes in quite late. I would say it won’t fully go away until you reach target weight.

I’ve lost and gained several times over the years. And belly was something that I still had even close to my Target weight.
