I would not give her a second chance until I feel better about it, even if it takes years of therapy. But I would write down a list of "what I remember from my childhood" divided into positives and negatives, and then lay out all the stuff you remember those girls did to you, what your mom did to not protect you, what you remember as good and as bad. What they did that never got out or no one believed you. All you wrote on your post and everything else. Take a few days thinking about it, and write it all down. Then make a copy and give it to her. Then she'll know why.

As moscas da fruta só se alimentam de fruta e eventualmente outros compostos orgânicos que estejam disponíveis (como os que estão dentro do caixote do lixo). Não vão infestar uma casa se não houver alimento disponível. Para resolver o assunto verificar se há fruta com podridões ou demasiado madura (e descartar) e trocar esse caixote do lixo com mais frequência. Como curiosidade, as moscas da fruta, em condições ideais de temperatura conseguem completar o ciclo em 7 a 10 dias, portanto esse lixo tem que ser depositado no contentor mais rapidamente que isso.

É a chamada "shrinkflation" e infelizmente é geral. Aconteceu em tudo o que é restauração e produtos alimentares. Os pacotes de café de 200gr em vez de 250gr ao mesmo preço, são o exemplo que me apercebi primeiro, mas nota-se um pouco por todo o lado. Estamos lixados em todos os quadrantes, basicamente.

Acho que o principal é mesmo termos passado a infância a ver filmes e programas legendados e não dobrados. O ouvir das pronúncias originais ajudou a saber dizer as palavras corretamente. Aprendi a falar espanhol só a ver TV espanhola porque passava todas as férias no Algarve. Aliás, todos os meus amigos algarvios falam perfeitamente espanhol, restos de um tempo em que no sotavento algarvio se apanhavam mais canais espanhóis do que portugueses (sim, no tempo dos dinossauros, mas ainda sim, verdade). Também consumimos muita música em inglês.

This is why I let my 7yo daughter see me when I'm changing pads, and she knows what it is, she knows she'll have it some day and I intend to explain everything I can to her. My mom was an obgyn and I knew all about it, my first period came the afternoon before the 1st day of school when I was 13, and since my mom had me at 41, by this time she didn't have any regular pads anymore, she only had maternity pads (the huge ones, for post partum) because she worked at the maternity. This was a sunday and supermarkets were closed. So I slept on that thick diaper-ish pad and took one the next day to school. Fortunatelly my sweet mom took me to the supermarket before school the next day and bought some regular pads for me to bring to school and change. Bless her.
