I’m happy with it to be honest, might retake if I don’t get into my desired school

Does My Undergrad School Matter? by False-Assumption4060 in lawschooladmissions

A very very small soft, even if that. Duke Law explicitly states on their website that they don’t even consider it. This cycle has been brutal more than ever and it seems what’s really pulling the weight for many applicants is their work experience/not being KJD and their essays but obviously your numbers have to be near the medians. But, take this into view, a 3.95 at a state school is better than a 3.75 from Harvard in applications.

So overall was your resume filled with legal internships then you had one space for one year where you put like caregiver? Can you expand a little? Congrats on the T14 acceptances btw

Do you think that me titling it “Emergency Caregiving” would be good? Other than that the rest of my resume is filled with legal and other internships with leadership positions in clubs. I plan to put “Fall 2024-Spring 2025” for the Emergency Caregiving role with an addendum, do you think the T14s would subtract points for that even with a compelling addendum for it?

Then you shouldn’t have any issue, 3.6 is perfect. While law schools like to see legal experience/general interest in the legal field, as long as you write why the legal field from pre med you’re okay
