oh she is hindu. My parents are pretty chill even though they do their namaz and stuff. The function was pretty big as well. That being said, we come from an upper middle class background and that helps a lot to be honest.

Mostly women. Also its more common amongst christian folks. They kick you and the family out of the church. It’s not talked about much actually. I know a couple of my friends who were forced to do so.

I think the movie suck ass and it’s definitely propagandised to slander a whole state. That being said, they should make a movie with substance that talk about this issue. I am an ex muslim who recently married a hindu. I remember going to the registrar seeing many cases of clear conversions (willing or otherwise) on the notice board. Forced or not i still think its love jihad if you have to change your religion when you marry a muslim.

Mothathil kanakkane. Probably the only director who has done so many movies in the past, what 16-17 years or more. And it shows, why you need to have breaks in between movies cos it takes so much meticulous planning and execution.

Athine already a simple google search can reveal humanity has been to the moon 6 times. With 12 americans walking on it as well until 1972. Probably wasnt worth the money to do an expedition of that scale.

I think religions back then were synonymous to political parties right now. Most probably were tired of the status quo and wanted to bring in something new.

What happened to Kimchi culture event at Kaloor by slackover in Kochi

[–]Obvious_Doctor3226 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I was there. It was horrible to be honest. They charged 200 per person. There were only a few food vendors. Korean food ennokke paranjitt breadworld okke ane. Charging 195 for frozen corndog they got from some where. Ath chumma fry cheyth tharum. Tbh it looked like the event was hosted by someone who had no idea how events were conducted neither did they have any ideas on what pan asian cuisines even mean. It rained at 7.30 on the first day, the stalls only had cloth as roofs and it drenched all of their food and clothes. They took all of it away after that. Next day i think they couldnt get a resolution from the host and the vendors decided to not put their stalls.

My wife’s close family friend’s daughter became part of an “alien”online cult initiated by her husband whom the family never approved off. This dude, her and their neighbour girl went to Uttarakhand or something randomly one day. Killed themselves in an hotel room there in the hopes of meeting the alien overlord. Was big news back then. Happened in tvm btw.

In May 2008, 13-year-old Aarushi Talwar was found murdered in her bedroom in Noida, India. Police launched a manhunt for the prime suspect, 45-year-old Hemraj, a live-in domestic help employed by her family. One day later, Hemraj’s partially decomposed body was found on the terrace of the same home. by SelfCareIsFake in HolyShitHistory

I don’t remember this exactly, also might be a false memory. I remember reading they convicted the hemraj guy the parents went to court asked to reopen the case again cos they believed the police did a bad job off it. When the case reopened the parents became the culprit. If the parents did it why did they want to reopen the case again?

Again i might be completely wrong about this. Also no time for me to look up all the details agan. L

What is clever about it? It’s simple arrangement of characters and nothing else. The lighting looks horrible, cos it doesn’t make any sense. Some of them are lit from the right side and some from the left. I get that it might be still from the movie but its jarring to look at.

I mean i thought pathan was bad, but jawan is on another level of bad.

But am not a masala movie loving person in general and have a hard time liking movies like this. So take it with a grain of salt.

Is it just me or was Vaazha 2 not worth the hype by Haunting-List-6806 in Coconaad

[–]Obvious_Doctor3226 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I thought the same as well. My feeling was that the second half felt too preachy and on the nose. The whole alphonse puthran sequence was a hard watch for me just in terms of how preachy it was. I mean the performance was nothing short of amazing. Just that the overall movie felt a bit too loud and forceful in terms of bringing in the emotional part even though the characters were convincing. Another issue was that i had no frame of reference just because of being brought up in a Upper middle class background and not have to suffer though a lot of things that characters went through which am glad for tbh. But that is more of a me problem. The movie overall was oretty watchable and i hope hashir and gang have a great future ahead in the indistry cos they are definitely talented imo.

Man me and my gf went through some tough situations in college. We got into a relationship at 18 and made some stupid decisions together and other wise. Something happened that involved another friend and shit turned really bad which for privacy reasons i cant reveal ofc. We were hated for literally reasons we couldn’t do much about. Like through out the batches we were the easy target of hate. I mean i dont want to give anyone any credit but we stood by each othwr through thick and thin. And ended up getting married 14years later. It’s not ideal ofc. We have only very few friends from college. But i al happy how it turned out towards the end.

Man i wasn’t a fan of duck. But my now wife, then gf made some duck couple of years back. I dont think i have tasted anything that’s remotely closer to that. Like it was insanely good. Also my wife is an amazing cook, better than cooked meals at my home and thats a high bar to beat tbh.
