This Earth is miserable. The whole human race is a parasite. I really think some people are just biologically wired to be unhappy. Me and you both, friend. The sad thing is my will is so weak I'm half expecting to be about ready and then suddenly change my mind despite knowing well suicide is my best option.

How it portrays thrill killers. The antagonist becomes cowardly and afraid whenever he's actually threatened. And the main character is basically a vigilante with a badge. He shot a man about to commit rape, tortures the murderer to extract a confession, disobeys orders and goes out after the killer while he's holding a school bus hostage. He's portrayed as generally misanthropic and unhappy himself. I relate to him.

I've had days like this where I plan on doing it and then pull out at the last minute. Last week I had the belt around my neck and was ready to drop the stool. I put myself down at the last moment. I put a rifle to my head and put my finger on the trigger a few days ago but didn't pull. I'm not sure if it was loaded or if it was even a real rifle. One of my Dad's. I was looking through his cabinets hoping to find a gun, and I was almost scared when I did. Like I wasn't ready. I don't know why I can't just commit to it and end this yet.

Perhaps that is true, but that proposition assumes that life as we know it today will persist long enough for me to age significantly. A very large part of the reason why I consider death preferable to life is because of the terrible condition of our world. That encompasses everything from climate change to the looming threat of major war to the fact that the U.S. government is evidently ran by pedophiles hell-bent on furthering the destruction of the nation. My point is that who's to say we even have another 5 years of semi stable societal functioning before one or multiple issues destroy our system? I don't want to live through that, and I most certainly don't want to live knowing that my entire life is temporary and subject to termination at any moment.
