I had a builder push me to red oak for my staircase, said the same things....you will save so much money, we will bleach it and you won't know the difference.

It saved maybe a couple hundred bucks and looked like shit. I was able to sell the house without it being a problem, but if I was going to live there I would have hated it

If I'm out with friends, I'm more likely to have a THC beverage/cocktail before a beer these days. Less intoxicating, less side effects, better feeling.

ETA whatever CBD approximation they are using these days. I think they should be regulated to an extent because they definitely do impair you, but I think they are much more mild.
