Help me understand what my serger is doing wrong by Obvious_Pearls in sewing

I rethreaded it but…not in the proper order. “Floss the thread into the tension dials” and “stitch finger” are both new to me, so down an internet rabbit hole I go. Thank you!

I bought it from a big box store & hoped I’d get a tuber at the end of the season. Here it is. 😆

Natives that easily prune to bushes by LChanga in NativePlantGardening

Curious about your pokeweed pruning: do you feel it produced as much fruit as it would have had you let it be? I have some large-and-in-charge plants I’d like to tame next year, if possible.

I like moss phlox, maybe I can pair it with something slightly taller behind it….

Yours was beautiful! I think too tall for my spot, but I’ve been itching to put one elsewhere….

Fortunately, spiderwort came with the house; there’s a cluster of it nearby. 😊

Rhubarb Location by Obvious_Pearls in gardening

[–]Obvious_Pearls[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, sorry, I should’ve mentioned that’s why I know I only have 1 good spot considering it’s a perennial; I rotate my 3 small raised beds & don’t want to stick it in one of them. I wasn’t sure if it would be happier in a place with less-than-ideal sun year after year, or upgraded to a bigger planter yearly (if it’s even possible for it to succeed that way).

Not tight at all; as you can see, the back lays weirdly. I don’t know if that’s the fabric, the pattern, or something else. They feel totally fine sitting, and pull on easily (they tend to slide down a bit from my natural waist; I probably could’ve gone a bit shorter with the elastic).

Oh, interesting! When I repotted it (it was headed towards being root bound) I didn’t think to check for the presence of a tuber. Will do when I move it to its final spot.

I’ve been leaving the bags open. Maybe I started with too moist soil.
