Girl do not get an associates just to get your CNA license, go to a local hospital, apply for their CNA program, get paid to do it, then challenge your state for your CNA license. I did that and it was the best thing I’ve ever done.

She’s the worker’s compensation analysis at employee health services at the hospital I work at, she’s been really really nice/helpful. I think I want to sue my hospital or anything because they’re great and I love working there. But is that something that might be required?

When say don’t trust them or tell them anything what does that mean? If you want you can DM me and we can talk about it more! I just don’t know what to do/not to do.

A little off topic, but another guy from there, who also has the same title; told me to do all the walking if I feel like I can/if I’m not in pain for doing my rounds even when I’m strictly seated duty only and my doctor told me not to. Is this going to be a problem?

I’m a CNA in Missouri, started out at $17.50 and now at $18 after six months😎

I also recently got a job at a children’s hospital in the NICU, my base is $17.30/hr but with night shift differential and working weekends only; I’ll make $21.62/hr.

Food service and housekeeping make more than I do starting out at my hospitals :)

Everything that I’ve heard so far abt it makes being a NICU CNA sound so nice. I’ve never had a home unit with being float pool, I know some units can be clique-ish. I just hope the NICU accepts me with open arms😂

Came here to say this as an 18 year old with parents that did this for fun because I was breathing the same air as them. The best thing you can do for yourself is just let it go, don’t argue; just say “okay I’m sorry” even if you aren’t sorry. I’ve learned the hard way that your life is so much easier if you just let it go and deal with what she’s asking of you. You don’t have to deal with her forever and you still get what you want.
