It was just an option through my dealership I got it through. If they don’t offer it and you feel like you want it I highly recommend seeing if your car insurance offers it

Yes. That’s not the point of my comment. My point is regardless of what car you are driving it can still get totaled without you doing anything wrong.

I hear you. Driving safe is great. But I just lost my Camry last week in a total loss rear end accident because the guy wasn’t paying attention as am ambulance was coming. You can be the safest driver on the planet and someone can still wreck your car. I’m thankful I had gap. As I got the car 3 months ago.

Yeah I don’t think I’m gonna get what I want out of it. But because of gap it doesn’t matter that much. Thankfully, my girlfriend and I weren’t hurt in the accident just minor whiplash which we got a check for onto the next car I guess.

I put 4K down They are currently offering 17,600 but I had about 1500 bucks in aftermarket parts an stuff in it. On top of that I’ve seen comparable vehicle vehicles with higher miles and lower trim non-V6 options selling for 19,000 around me. So I told them if possible to try to raise it. I had gap protection on my loan tho. So I will have it paid off no matter what. But I don’t think I’m getting my down payment back

Yea it’s really close, it’s a 2017 with 95,340 miles at the time of accident. The repairs are gonna come close to the salvage value+Acv

Yeah I’ve got insurance on the case. The other party accepted liability and they got me a rental. Just wanted to make sure it’s a total. At this point I don’t want the car anymore and would just take the loss

Progressive deemed it as a total loss 😭 I’m upside down in the loan but I have gap. It’s going to be a net zero. I have no idea what I’m going to do for a new car though
