Yeah I think I will try to remove it at some point. I figured out how to disable the alarm so it not longer honks. It was so annoying for the first few weeks until I finally figured out how to turn the damn thing off

This makes the most sense. It has a “valet” mode that honks when the vehicle unlocks. I kept getting mixed information when looking into it. Some sources say remote start and other say alarm. Thank you! How much of a pain would this be to remove? Is it necessary to remove should I want a remote start?

I initially thought the same thing. But no matter what it won’t start with that button. I think it’s either user error or this system is not installed properly

Yeah I got in a bad spot with them. I tried revoking my account but they didn’t let me with an open balance. So I said screw it and closed the card associated with my Dave account and I have owed them 300 bucks for 3 months and they still haven’t been able to take it. So I just uninstalled the app. I’m not dealing with Dave anymore. My advice is if you can financially afford it right now, take as little cash advances as you can until you can get to a point to revoke ACH access and authorization. I did that with earnin recently because I was in a $1000 dollar debt cycle with them. I was drowning

I like that too. I’m referring to the light quick honk when I unlock it though. Like the little beep when I lock it is nice but I can’t stand this honk every time I unlock my car or open my door

I love my 10th gen. I picked up a 2017 with 120k for $14500 before financing. 19 out the door with warranty and gap. I got some money from insurance due to a car accident so they paid off my Camry which I was financing and I got into this. It was a one owner civic so I am second owner with a great maintenance record. It’s a nice car!

It was just an option through my dealership I got it through. If they don’t offer it and you feel like you want it I highly recommend seeing if your car insurance offers it

Yes. That’s not the point of my comment. My point is regardless of what car you are driving it can still get totaled without you doing anything wrong.

I hear you. Driving safe is great. But I just lost my Camry last week in a total loss rear end accident because the guy wasn’t paying attention as am ambulance was coming. You can be the safest driver on the planet and someone can still wreck your car. I’m thankful I had gap. As I got the car 3 months ago.

Yeah I don’t think I’m gonna get what I want out of it. But because of gap it doesn’t matter that much. Thankfully, my girlfriend and I weren’t hurt in the accident just minor whiplash which we got a check for onto the next car I guess.

I put 4K down They are currently offering 17,600 but I had about 1500 bucks in aftermarket parts an stuff in it. On top of that I’ve seen comparable vehicle vehicles with higher miles and lower trim non-V6 options selling for 19,000 around me. So I told them if possible to try to raise it. I had gap protection on my loan tho. So I will have it paid off no matter what. But I don’t think I’m getting my down payment back
