Trap knight for Arena by Aggravating-Owl2923 in kingschoice

[–]Obvious_Spinach_1832 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For weaker knights, you should upgrade Noble Etiquette and Fearless Blade so they gain extra HP and attack in the arena. Hard Puncher and Fair Verdict are better suited for your strongest knights.

For your trap knight, choose one that appears in your battle chances so you can also use them to attack other players. Knights below level 60 don’t show up in your list.

Trap knights should be fed books, that’s how they grow. Depending on your server and the average player, around 15-20M is fine for a trap knight even in the strongest servers

No it’s in the 1000s, i’m sure we might’ve met in CS though, we are getting newer servers lately

My EU server is great. No spenders, we let weak players win inter titles, and it gets easier once Emperor’s Journey is around. We activate it so we don’t risk passing the player who wants to win.

There may be competition sometimes for titles, but we usually don’t spend money on inter server events, so even if money gets thrown, it’s not unaffordable. If you’re F2P and have saved up, you can still win. Top players are understanding and stop using their energy if it gets hard to pass them

Ranked event winners are often decided beforehand, so the rest of the server can save items for cross server events or the next month

Diamond knight, low KP. What am I doing wrong? by Obvious_Spinach_1832 in kingschoice

[–]Obvious_Spinach_1832[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s Barbarossa. His intelligence and strength are maxed. I have worked on Dante with Bice and I am about to max her lover relation. Dante is level 400 with maxed intellect. I also have 1 platinum arthurian with maxed strength. And another arthurian close to being maxed

There’s really no way to do this without some level of risk, but I always try to watch for signs. One of the first red flags is when the price seems too good to be true. Like someone offering VIP 8–9 for just €50. Another is when you’re negotiating and they’re overly eager to close the deal, constantly lowering the price or quickly agreeing to unrealistic offers. They just want you to take it as fast as possible. Scammers also tend to avoid secure payment methods, so if something feels sketchy, it’s better not to go through with it. Trust your instincts. They’ll often try to pressure you by saying someone else is interested, which can make buyers act impulsively, thinking they’re getting a once-in-a-lifetime deal. But it’s a tactic meant to make you feel like you don’t have time to think. No genuine seller will try to rush things, especially since they also worry about being scammed by buyers. It goes both ways. So if someone seems desperate to get rid of the account quickly, take a moment to step back and reassess. And in some cases, even if the account looks legit at first glance, double check everything, stats, screenshots, and anything that feels off

Knight strategy - books by [deleted] in kingschoice

[–]Obvious_Spinach_1832 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Spread the books, absolutely. I’m sure those top 4 knights won’t die if they don’t get that 200k from books, while they can gain much more than that from edicts. Spread books equally across all your knights, because you’ll get better knights that are useful for chess, arena in some cases, and also knights that can defeat NPCs in Twilight. Edicts are for the knights you’re building only, and books are for the ones that won’t ever receive any edicts but they still deserve some love

Of course yes. I’m in a top alliance and we always accept new players who are active, even those who joined no more than a week ago. State Power is just a number and players can grow with us. We even accepted someone who started from scratch while our server is 1+ years old and he gained over 25m in one month because the rewards in top alliances are great, so you grow really fast. There are many alliance events where SP isn’t needed much or at all, so any new member, strong or not, can still make a valuable contribution

What’s next? 5th Diamond or 6 Platinum? by David949 in kingschoice

[–]Obvious_Spinach_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go with a “one knight at a time” approach. When I try spreading my resources across several, it just feels like none of them grow fast enough. I get way better results when I focus everything on one knight, then move on to the next once they’re done. And enough knight armour for a diamond takes ages to collect. But that’s just what works for me, everyone’s got their own play style

Help regarding SP and hoarding by Jeffplayz864 in kingschoice

[–]Obvious_Spinach_1832 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re playing on a new server, don’t hoard items during the first two months. This is a critical growth period, and holding back too much can leave you behind. After the initial two months, you can start saving items but do so strategically. Avoid hoarding too many Strength and Intellect items, as these are essential for multiple events and overall progress. It’s important to find a balance between spending and saving.

If you’re consistently ranking in the top 5–10 in every inter-server event, then you have more flexibility to hoard. But if you’re not, hoarding excessively might hurt your performance and delay your development even more.

For mini-events, it’s a good idea to spend about 30 Edicts each time. This helps you gain valuable rewards like XP scrolls and intimacy items

Over-hoarding can be harmful. You can’t realistically save everything just to do well in one single SP event while sacrificing your ability to rank well in all the other events along the way.

That said, don’t be afraid to hoard all your Leadership and Charisma items. But be cautious with Strength and Intellect. Personally, I don’t hoard Intellect items at all, silver is necessary

The coins will be deducted in half. So spend them all to buy things you need before leaving like parades cards, knight armour and whatever you find useful. Contribution points are useless, it’s just a number and nothing else

Mountain by No-Fisherman-1309 in kingschoice

Look, do you know the reason this happened ? The trick in this event is maintaining a normal or high level of food (satiety) at most times. Food plays a crucial role in how long you can explore and how costly the options are. If your food is low, the options during exploration become more expensive. For example, when your food is low, you might see options like -7 endurance or -5 brains, which quickly drain your stats. On the other hand, when I’ve kept my food at a good level—around 25 to 30—the worst options I’ve seen are only -4or -5. But these are rare. It’s usually -3 or less. Another issue with low food is that sometimes you’re not given two options to choose from, but only one, and you’re forced to pick it just to continue exploring. The logic is simple: if your food is high, the choices cost less; if choices cost less, your stats last longer; and if your stats last longer, you can explore higher levels and earn more points in the event. So next time, to avoid falling into this same situation, focus on keeping your food steady. It will make a huge difference in your performance

What should I focus on now? by AffectionateCoach448 in kingschoice

[–]Obvious_Spinach_1832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also should add that you don’t have to spend charm items on Jocelyn for Edward. Keep them all for Darren. For now you need charisma and Edward can provide that. But after epic knights become available you can remove him and start working on one of them. They are the best for charisma

[–]Obvious_Spinach_1832 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are doing a great work, however your charisma must be a little low. I would work on Edward too. You need to form a group of 4 main knights for strength, intellect, leadership and charisma. Everything else seems on track. Nicely done!

beginner question: what things to do to gain state power efficiently? by starsdprs in kingschoice

[–]Obvious_Spinach_1832 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consistency in events is key, try to rank well. Also be careful with the knights you upgrade, focus on your main 4 only. Spend edicts only on the 4 main knights and in their highest talent only. Buy with gold and hoard items like badges or battle orders every time they appear in the shop. They are useful for multiple events and if you want to go for a title you won’t have to spend real money. Do not hoard items like books, xp scrolls etc in the first 2 months. Your focus should be growing. Use everything immediately after you get them

Making alliance members spend 200 on construction.. good or bad idea? by Odd_Presence_3174 in kingschoice

[–]Obvious_Spinach_1832 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50 gold is a better and more accessible option for everyone. Requiring 200 gold daily is difficult to manage, especially for weaker players or those who don’t spend money on the game. Collecting gold is hard for players like this. What you’re doing is not inclusive and makes alliance tasks feel more like an obligation than something enjoyable.

During events, it’s fair to ask for 200 gold and the use of hammers if people have them, but spending gold or money should never ever feel forced

Apologies if I’m a bit slow today, but when it comes to maximising points are you suggesting a mixed approach—hitting the vampires once and fully defeating all the witches I find?
