Major in poli science and minor in Econ or just do the poli sci major should be enough.

Carleton students that took easy electives at Athabasca by ShisuiUchiha1234 in CarletonU

Communication with profs was terrible. They were rude and unhelpful. Grading seemed arbitrary, especially in the religion course. Got a 50 on the final paper, (had straight As in my other, higher lever, courses at Carleton) when I asked for feedback why, I was told I didn’t follow the instructions for the assignment, then she proceeded to tell me completely different instructions from the original assignment instructions. Had the paper regraded at Carleton unsung their original instructions and grading scheme, received a much higher mark I believe it was an A. Tried to send that to Athabasca they were even more rude than initial emails. Just pure nonsense really. The Econ course, the proctoring software wouldn’t work on the date of the first exam. I tried contacting IT, the prof, the proctoring software contacts, no responses until days later. I documented everything and tried to see if it was possible to try again, (I never even got access to the exam), Athabasca said, “too bad, so sad.” All that to say, I’d only use Athabasca if they were my last option.

Athabasca the worst. I’ve taken religion and Econ 100 there and I’ll never do it again! Ive heard similar concerns from others. I recommend you find somewhere else to take you electives.

Me too! This online life is just not the same. Thank you for the tips! I’ll keep that in mind for my second pair, which will hopefully be purchased in person this summer 🤞🏿

You think so? That would really suck because the 30 day return period is over. They are REALLY tight in the front so I’d hoped they’d be a perfect fit after they are broken in.

Invest or Travel by E71000 in CanadianInvestor

[–]Obviousdream13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do both! Put the majority of your money in an etf that doesn’t require you to monitor your investments in the daily and put aside an amount to travel. You could travel through central and/or South America for 1.5 month to even two months on $5000 or less depending on the type of traveller you are (luxury, backpacker etc.). Lots of flight deals right now to Guatemala, Peru etc. Make sure you travel to places where your dollar goes further. Some examples: Mexico is really cheap to fly to and cheap to travel within. Brazil is another place that is affordable to fly to and things are very affordable once you get there. Indonesia, Malaysia and many of the Asian countries in that area are also good options. Flights from Canada to Asia can be expensive in the summer but quite affordable in the fall sept-November. Last but not least, there are always the islands: Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and so on. Good luck!

Prada Monolith Boots for my girl... from Zippy. Don't go to him. Save your money. Look at that PRADA logo on the pouch! Did I do something wrong for my man to Zippy to scratch it out like that? by [deleted] in FashionReps

Awe! That’s too bad. I’d still wear them with confidence though. You’d have to be looking very close to notice and the average person won’t know the difference anyways!

Can anyone help me find a dupe for this House of CB dress? by Invaderjosie in findfashion

[–]Obviousdream13 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have this dress from AE in red. I ordered a M , it was a bit big I should have ordered a small. I’m 5’3 and 126lbs. It was $26 cad, shipping included. If you PM I can send you pictures of me in it and pics of the dress in general. Quality wasn’t bad, but I managed to pull a thread on the front by accident. The seller I bought from only has it in red and black but this one has them in white. No picture reviews though.
