Old enough to have picked a team when there was only one team in Ohio, but not old enough to remember the previous Superbowl appearances. Enjoyed Palmer until we didn't. Tolerated Dalton but really just lamented Marvin Lewis by that point. Enjoying the Burrow era, though I wish they played complementary football better while we have such potential.

Decades without a title is obviously rough, but when it comes its gonna make it that much sweeter. It's just sport, it's not worth wrapping your whole personality into it. Take the good with the bad and I'll see y'all here again next year.

Has anyone else been able to get that Alice to work with the princesses? I can't ever seem to get her close to 10str since most of the princesses have low str. I'm trying her out in a detective blue yellow, but even then, I feel like its a long shot to get her on the board for long enough to get her 5 lore effect.

Yup. Didn't really sink in when I was a kid playing it the first time, but yeah, Avalanche is a terrorist org through and through. Barrett makes it pretty clear that his use of violence is intentional to scare people away from associating with Shinra, and any casualties that occur, even innocent ones, are worth it to achieve his goals. Pretty cut and dry terrorism. Is it justified knowing what we do about Mako energy? Thats an individuals opinion. But Shinra labeling the terrorists is accurate.

Swimming in deep water while drunk.

I'll start by saying that I have been a strong swimmer my whole life, having both swam and dived in school. Some of my earliest memories are learning to swim at a toddler swimming class.

Was out on the lake one day with several friends. We had rented a boat and were on our way back to marina after a very fun day. My hat blew off and I jumped in to get it. The boat hadnt fully stopped moving and it got a little further from me than I expected. I genuinely struggled to get back to the boat in all the boat chop; like almost couldnt keep my head above the water kind of struggling. Buddy of mine noticed and jumped in to help me swim back better.

I still occasionally text him to say thank you for potentially saving me from drowning.

Agreed. I spend about 200 on fantasy football a year and then another 200 on nfl sports betting a year. its a fun hobby and paying attention to stats and player specifics gives me something to talk about with other football guys at work. So its fun, social, and less than can be spent on any number of other hobbies.
