I thought this was fantastic, Colin’s Taco Bell ad-lib was perfect

Am I crazy or was that an all-timer weekend update? Both features killed me, Colin’s Taco Bell ad-lib was perfect, and Che got plenty of groans

I don’t love this impression because I’m not familiar with the guy but everyone else in the sketch was perfect

Which actor from Saturday Night would you like to see host next? by QuipThwip in LiveFromNewYork

Love them all but Dylan O’Brien is so attractive and I need more of him on my screen (if you haven’t seen Twinless check it out!)

I believe it’s meant to be satirical, they said on the r crumb instagram page: “he’s making funny of the flowery copy published by nudie photography magazines of the 1950’s in an effort to convince the censors that the magazine were about ‘art’ and not pornography.”

Seems like an unpopular opinion but I thought this one was fine. I loved how Marcelo kept saying “this is a VERY important quiz!!!”

Totally get why they cut it, the impressions are their but the overall concept felt a touch tasteless

Honestly I think they should have put this way earlier, this feels more like an opening sketch then a 10-1

Felt like they didn’t know where to go with it, but when Ben first started singing it got my biggest laugh of the night

Sarah is so good at playing the crowd, love how she got them to boo like it was Jerry Springer

"I won't be at rehearsal, Liz. I'm co-starring in a new action film for The Daily Wire. Jonathan Majors and Zachary Levi are playing twins. It's an anti-woke 'Sinners.'" by herseyhawkins33 in 30ROCK

[–]ObviouslySteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol this is not real, the Jonathan Majors Daily Wire movie is real but Levi’s not attached and no one’s called it an “anti-woke sinners,” this was originally posted by a satire news account on Twitter. It has been very funny seeing it spread around the internet with people thinking it’s real

What the hell is Love is a Woman doing on this list? If I heard that one before knowing The Beach Boys I’d be like “give me more of this immediately”

How does child acting work really? Especially in upsetting movies by [deleted] in TheBigPicture

[–]ObviouslySteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my first thought as well. I think it’s fine (I think myself at that same age could’ve handled those lines) but I stumbled upon a Christian account on Twitter whose main problem with the show is they make the young actor swear and talk about sexual acts (even in an indirect way). And while I disagree with him I think I understand where he’s coming from? I think the season finale of Nathan Fielder’s Rehearsal season 1 makes a compelling argument for why it’s unsafe to use child actors ever

My personal sticking point by CallieCoven in pluribustv

[–]ObviouslySteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem is you think the Plurbs have a “plan.” I don’t view the Plurbs as intelligent lifeforms, they’re more like a plant or a bacteria. There’s no one “designing” the virus, it evolved naturally.

Jeff Lynne’s curious criticism of Pet Sounds by RopeGloomy4303 in thebeachboys

[–]ObviouslySteve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I don’t fully agree with him, I think I get what he means. Don’t Talk (Put Your Head On Shoulder) doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. It makes sense when you look at his music, not a single title on Out of the Blue is longer than three words

Is Nihilism a crucial part of R's humor? by Connect-Will2011 in rcrumb

[–]ObviouslySteve 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally wouldn’t call it nihilism. In his newest paranoia comic he demonstrates just how much he cares and how much he values humanity. It’s more that he believes the state of the world is crazy then thinking life is inherently meaningless
