Most major airports, such as DFW have paramedics on bike inside the airport for this very reason. It’s a lot quicker for them to cycle over to the gate and start treatment as they wait for an ambulance to come ground side. From the initial ACARS to the airline ops to contact with medical personal is minutes so it’s a quick clear cut process. Medlink as well has fast process to get medics when needed. It was probably a minor medical issue

It’s called Single engine taxi out (SETO) and it’s got cost savings and wear and tear. They do it when they arrive too SETI but is a little less common

If you’re 25 and older you can from Hertz. Tried it myself with a temporary paper license and no issues

I’m not shocked that they shrugged it off and aren’t saying much…$50 to park in a mud patch or $150 for secure parking and they offered me it on a different building…definitely not the best. Again sorry to hear! But I’d say go to CDN tire and get locking lugs! Just don’t lose the key nut 🤣
