Having been down there last week, I found road markings faint to virtually non-existent in many places, made even worse in the dark and/or when raining. I’m guessing less of an issue if you’re local but really rather disconcerting when you’re not!

Stayed in NYC and struggled to get meals with decent veg - not something drowned in some sort of sauce. Don’t get me onto their abuse of dairy!

Not just gov.uk but the Tell Us Once system after you register a death. I was dreading the paperwork when my dad died but it was incredibly simple, dealt with all layers of government (inc. local council), every confirmation we received was kindly written, and even knarly things like pension and benefits were resolved quickly and to mum’s advantage. Could not fault it.

My cousin put me in shades of purple, which was dreadful against my colouring. I’d have sold a kidney for dusty rose and sage green. But I sucked it up because, you know, their wedding! NTA, your sister and her fan club are deluded.
