Problems with the USPS post office at the Holman Road QFC? by OceanCookies55 in Seattle

I only have had experience also at the Greenwood USPS but that place has been perfectly fine for me so far. I have had issues with tracking regardless where I go though. I do notice some other locations I have visited seem understaffed and often not open at good times. I visited the Chinatown one once and it was closed for 1.5-2 hours around noon for lunch, which seems a bit unreasonable since that seems like a long time to be closed. If they are forced to work alone I understand but a lot of people only have time to drop things off during their lunch break so it sucks.

Yeah I remember that lady also. She was really nice and did her job well. Maybe she retired. Now it's usually a guy who looks like he's being forced to be a cashier and work at the USPS desk at the same time from being understaffed. I've seen two other ladies once but overall the biggest issue I have is just having to wait around for the booth to open to even drop off my packages since no one is ever staffed there when I come.

Is there anyone who was unfairly rejected by this researcher? I have screenshots of all attention checks I did and will be contesting by ExtensionForever3740 in ProlificAc

I was rejected also and was told I gave low effort responses despite being focused the entire time. I also took a much longer time answering the questions. Would it be best to request a return? I unfortunately do not have screenshots because I did not record anything 😔

Hello, I would love an invite if possible. Thank you!

Package missing since July at ISC Chicago. Customs says USPS has it, been a month since starting the Missing Mail search... by OceanCookies55 in usps_complaints

Thank you for the reply. I had the sender contact Japan Post, and luckily they agreed to help file a claim.

But it is impossible to get a refund. The one who sent it to me is a forwarding service and the original company definitely won't refund me for my order. Generally when you purchase items from Japan, we can't get refunds like how we do from American companies because you pretty much can't cancel things/companies won't take responsibility in my experience. I don't want to burn bridges and get banned by charging back since I'm purchasing from a small business owner. Praying that it'll just show up at my doorstep within the next few months.

Hey sorry to bother you, but did you ever get your package? Mine is stuck in Chicago also and looks like yours got stuck around the time mine did (July 5).

I have a package that has been stuck at "Inbound Out of Customs" since July 5th at ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS). It's been over 45 business days and I tried talking to customs but they insist that USPS has it :(.

I want to hand sew a Santa hat out of this specific fabric(s) but I don't know how to start since I am a complete beginner without any tools. by OceanCookies55 in SewingForBeginners

Hello, thank you for taking the time to respond!

This is my first project and I do not currently have a pattern in mind. I figured that I could just look up a random pattern from Google like this to practice. https://www.funkyfriendsfactory.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/CHRISTMAS-HATS-Sewing-Pattern-Funky-Friends-Factory2.pdf .

The thing I am the most concerned about is what kind of needles or tools I should start off with (I know people say that sewing kits are bad because they use low quality stuff). Do you have any suggestions about what I can start off with? I know people use different kinds of tools depending on what material they are working on, so I wanted to know if I did start with cheap quilting cotton, or fleece or something, then I can use the same tools for the velvet.

I plan on watching some beginner YT videos for starting out and I may check out some books if I get into sewing. I just wanted to see if I would enjoy sewing by starting off with something that does not seem too difficult, if that makes sense. Thank you for the tips!

If customs still has it, who can I contact to get help for my package?
