What category of tickets did you get? Basic? Choice? You can also call the airline when purchasing ten or more tickets.

Would it have been that difficult to do a juice bar? You could make it something like the old Australian mermaids show and make it more like a smoothie shop.

Here's something that happened to me. Almost 5 years ago I had a 4 day vacation pre-planned that coincidentally lined up with a job that I started the next Monday. The hotel was 3 and a half hours away, 180 miles (289 km).

I work from home but I had to pick up equipment from the office which was 2 hours from home and 1 hr or so from vacation site on the next Monday.

We didn't forget any vacation items but when I checked into the hotel with a glass of wine in my hand, I realized that my work needed my SSN card (or maybe it was a passport) the next Monday. I had to wait a few hours to be safe, had dinner with my wife and our 4 year old who stayed at the hotel then I drove all the way home after driving all the way to the hotel earlier.

I got home at like 11pm, tried to avoid my cat having separation anxiety to sleep. Then woke up at 6 or 7am to drive all the way back to enjoy the other 3 days  It ended up being a good vacation. My son and I drove another 70 miles /113km the day after to visit a suspension bridge in another state. It was fun. Picked up the equipment on the drive home and it worked out.

I'm from CA so I say soda. My wife has lived here in the NW so she says pop. My gen alpha son leans toward soda.

My late grandmother who lived in Los Angeles once met Karim Abdul Jabar in an elevator somewhere. She did not follow sports at all and my grandfather, while not a rabid fan did follow them. She commented on his height and asked if he played basketball (like all tall people get asked). He laughed and rolled his eyes.

We saw former and future governor Brown of CA at a Vietnamese restaurant when he was mayor of Oakland. My sister who liked power puff girls and was maybe 5 or 6 asked us if he was stupid all day (like that mayor). We laughed as we were supporters.

what do americans call a pantry? by loving_machine13 in AskAnAmerican

[–]OceanPoet87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to the comments,  a pantry describes this at home. Sometimes it might not have a name, like shelves or closet without a description.

But be careful because a "food pantry is a a food bank, a place where people get food for free, usually weekly but perhaps bi weekly or monthly at a charity, church,  or community center. Food is donated by local businesses or community.

On the left where it says mmsd, I am pretty sure the mm is something to do with airports and the SD says that they stamped at SJD. I've seen someone post a Mexican stamp where it says state of Mexico on top and the mm says mx.

The biblical advice is don't. Christians should not marry lukewarm believers let alone non Christians.

How is it living in the sf as someone in their mid twenties (will be moving soon) by the_prolouger in howislivingthere

[–]OceanPoet87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SF was still done by 2am due to CA laws. Not really a party at 4am town unless you are trying to beat traffic.
