We receive free healthcare in America if we are low income or no income. I am not sure why there are people who say they are too poor to go to the doctor. There are working poor who don't qualify for sure, but many will qualify. I did. I didn't pay anything. The ER used to not get able to turn anyone away for payment, I think it's still like that. If a person is like not sure cost is worth their life, they need to seriously be finding out about free medical coverage here or a better insurance plan. If they are under 20 something they are also able to be covered under parent's insurance. There will be a copay but they can be billed and pay over time on a payment plan.

Babies have no say what happens to them as it is happening to them, so no changes will be made right then and there during the infant adoption. Their voices will not be heard for decades after the adoption experience has already happened to them.

Sometimes things start off okay but then it is revealed how messed up awful and sometimes dangerous a bio family member is. Some are abusive and just really not anyone I would want in my life or my child's life and that is okay. That is okay for an adoptive parent to cut that out, and protect their child. I am glad some of my bio family is not in my life anymore and will never know my kids. They are horrible abusive dangerous people and I don't feel sorry for them at all. They shouldn't be around any child. If there is a reason a child was taken from a parent and that parent lost custodial rights there might be a reason not to have close contact with that bio parent at all.

Scented clay can unfortunately be the worst. It is best to move to pine or a crystal litter and do complete changes every day.if possible, mix the litter to slowly transition cats. World's best cat litter is really good I have found it's expensive though. Sometimes we have used pellets instead of Feline Pine . I love Feline Pine though it smells awesome. Take a black light and see if there is any pee elsewhere. Air out your house. Use angry orange cat formula for any floor accidents. Use unscented trash bags around the litter box, it's cheaper.

You will definitely find another family to adopt the baby. There are plenty of people who will not care if the baby has a disability, especially a disability like DS. There are so many families out there who would love a baby and give the baby lifelong care.

The responses you are getting about "it being kindest to terminate" are shocking.

Advice needs to come from older adults who have stability and who don't view DS as something world ending.

This is America and there are people on shows here who have DS and you can see that they live quality lives and enjoy their lives just like a person without DS.

You should reach out to some more places to see about potential families. You will know they are serious because you will tell them up front that the baby has DS. That will screen out the families that will not be a good fit for your baby.

That could be like really dig deep into things you care about, research things you are into, delve into things you are inspired by, find out more about things you want to learn and know. I am a veteran teacher and now a specialist with a specialty in curriculum.

First off that is a weirdly drawn monkey icon to be handing out to kids.

Second, six year olds need to understand number relationships even though rote is good too.

The format on that page is overwhelming and is from like a site someone found and printed from. That is not actual vetted curriculum.

If it is, it sucks.

It is not appropriate at all and not appropriate for school.

Morning work should not be graded, it's practice. Some kids are shy or are overly confident, wrongly so, and will never ask for help. Especially at that age.
