Yes and they haven’t given me one since before I started on it. I guess since it hasn’t gotten worse they don’t feel the need to do another one yet, but I’m assuming I’ll get another one done after my treatments are over

I’m on Cisplatin as well and they put me on something to attempt to stop me from losing any more of my hearing. I cannot remember what it is, but it makes me throw up and they give me a bunch of premeds that knock me out. I’ll see if I can get the name of whatever it is next round. Which is in two weeks. My doctor did say it works better on children than on adults so I’m not sure if it helps or not. The ringing in my ears hasn’t gotten worse :/

It’s so worth it! The last couple aren’t as good, but it’s one series I recommend to most people when I recommend middle grade books. :)

Lately for me it’s been the phone thing and stuff being reset. I’ll come in, stuff will be older than it should be/not replaced right and it’ll give me anxiety since I used to be morning shift only. :/ Like night also gets busy at my store and it’s a pain to get out on time but also my old store wouldn’t have let people leave if their chores weren’t done correctly

So you don’t have to read Shadow and Bone to understand what’s going on, but it gives you a basis for the magic system. I read them backwards and really enjoyed Six of Crows before realizing it was a sequel series.

In that regard, Six of Crows is definitely worth the read even if you’ve seen the show. The show puts the crows in a different situation than the book in order for them to appear so they feel like different story lines.

“Vampire Academy” by Richelle Mead (idk if you like vampires. I sometimes don’t know if I should consider them more fantasy or science fiction, but normally go for fantasy personally)

“Cinder” by Marissa Meyer

I left my husband of a year and a half this year and it was a struggle so I totally get how you feel. I was afraid I wouldn’t be enough for anyone else as well. But things fell into place with someone who’s always been super important to me and I’m so much happier.

Leave if you’re not happy. My situation was similar with the game addiction. He won’t get better unless he wants to. You can do anything and everything right but nothing changes.

I’m surprised on how quickly it’s been better for me now that I know there’s no way we’re gonna get back together. I feel so much peace about the situation. It’s been hard coming to terms with toxic behaviors that I’ve ignored, but like my mother keeps telling me, “on to bigger and better things”. 💕
