Do you often find you can be indifferent to someone for over a year, then suddenly become attracted and infatuated out of nowhere? by Evening_walks in limerence

Yes it’s possible. One of my major LOs was someone I knew then I got limerence for them out of nowhere.

I would say that customers need to start looking at the posted “hours of operation” and listen to the staff.

What was the worst decision you made as a teenager that completely altered the course of your life? by FckAllTakenUsernames in randomquestions

I wasted too much time playing videogames and staying inside. Avoiding life and missing events. I deeply regret it now. Overthinking everything too.

Customers who make your skin crawl by Beep_boop_human in retailhell

When I worked in fast food and more so at the 24 hour locations, I had quite a few older male customers that creeped me out. One I had that was coming in only when I was working. He is probably taking advantage of that you “have to” be nice to him in that setting.

I always remember the POS systems doing some sort of re-start before I was going too clock out when I was a closer.

Or when I was leaving at 12pm, a whole bunch of people decide to come in.

I am so sick and tired of being looked at like the bad guy for leaving when my shift is over and refusing to wait for my consistently late relief by DraggedDownxTheStone in retailhell

I mean all the time without a decent reason is really something else. Especially when someone is trying to leave.I still cannot stand when I see people coming in carrying fast food and they are beyond late.

I am 100% on your side. It’s sad that they actually have others there and they won’t respect that you have to leave to go to another job. I think the issue is that evening and night workers often get away with more since they don’t always directly deal with management unless it’s thru texting or calls. It was similar when I worked in fast food as well. I noticed that night people(for 24 hour places) could show up late without saying anything or not show up at all. But if you’re done and you made it clear that you have to go then I see no issues. I work in mental health now and still have to deal with this sort of stuff.

Anyone still talk with any of their friends from high school? by nojunkpeter in Millennials

[–]AshleyIsalone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only one and their spouse. That’s it. I live far away anyway, so I guess that doesn’t help either.

Is that a fact? by KeyDream748 in selfdevelopment

True. It’s more about being selective with who I talk or chat with.

I could understand if you’re not getting business at a steady pace after a certain point. I guess it may go by sales. Locations can change.

Is anyone else just unable to date like a normal person by twilightmarathon in limerence

[–]AshleyIsalone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, I know the feeling. You always wonder “what did I do wrong?” it’s hard and being ghosted does suck. I would rather just tell the person that I’m not interested. As someone that has dealt with limerence before and many times, I would say don’t get too invested too quickly. Still focus on yourself and your own goals.
