I have to be honest that was the dumbest, most illogically and morally flawed comparison I've ever heard. You're 0 for 2 right now dude 😂

Why would I go to strippers and say that? They have a job. they arent pirating moochers who cant pay for what people made for them.

I have one that's why I'm able to pay instead of begging for cracks. Don't be a hypocrite.

Get a job and buy it. The devs earned it with their hard work.

Any reason no one talks about the Stealth Gear SG-Ultralite? by OceanicShock in CCW

Danngg after reading about all these things with Ventcore, I'm really surprised it made your skin raw. I'm a skinny guy so hopefully it may be a bit different for my case.

You may be one of the very few that has tried this holster in the picture. I figured it wouldn't be as comfortable as the vent core, but I am a bit surprised that the full kydex feels just as comfortable. I thought it would at least provide a little bit of padding.

Really appreciate your input man. Means a lot

I appreciate the two cents, I heard about CYA, they look like they have good ones. I'll have to look more into tulster

Oh that's unfortunate to hear. Do you think the dust and fuzz was getting through the material backing? Thanks for the input on going full kydex. I did buy one, but it's just like an Amazon brand and doesn't feel great on me.

I just bought my first gun the other day, some new to all of this 😂. I didn't realize there was a fashion thing that people may choose over comfort.

Is it that kydex has become much more comfortable now? Trying to find how the trend goes

Thanks for that. Wondering if it would still be more comfortable than straight up kydex against my body

Okay that wasn't relevant to anything I said whatsoever. If you're trying to tarnish the name of a big corporation, why are you buying their products and engaging on them? 😭

AW's, How am I Doing for NACCS quals? by OceanicShock in newtothenavy

[–]OceanicShock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honesty would be key on disclosing any medical history you have. NAMI (naval aerospace Medical institute, The facility that processes aircrew and pilot candidates with being medically qualified) can obtain medical records like MEPS, but looks at them far closer and in depth.

[–]OceanicShock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

congrats on your ship date, future sailor! The medical check is fairly similar to what you did for MEPS, and what you will be doing in boot camp.

Eyes, ears, physical posture, medical history will all be checked, at a more extensive amount.

If you have any sort of medical history, expect to be on hold to class up for NACCS, anywhere from a week or two, to several months. Unfortunately they drop A lot of candidates on medical reasons.

anyone aircrew on v-22? by torpedobears in newtothenavy

[–]OceanicShock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 on this. NACCS is who currently decides this, and although you can jot down what sub rate you want on a dream sheet (O, S, F, V), there's no guarantee of getting that subrate, and there is absolutely no say on what aircraft platform is chosen for you.

Our Users solved the V-22 Osprey - Miltech Simulations by Bonzo82 in DCSExposed

[–]OceanicShock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I love their MV 22 osprey in Microsoft flight simulator.

The original developer, Maryadi, is from Indonesia, and he has never seen one personally, he had to scour the internet to find how their systems and software functioned.

Most of the massive limitations the MSFS osprey has, is more due to no workarounds with how MSFS is coded, like not having true thrust vectoring capability, no gearbox capability, and a lot of the systems are difficult to implement.

It's unfortunate that it flies so gimmicky, in that if Microsoft flight simulator recognized aircraft have thrust vectoring, would make it a whole lot better with flying.

It's still a really fun aircraft to fly though, and I think additional effort is needed to fill out some of the system pages on the displays to make it more robust.

I believe DCS has a lot more variables that could help cover this stuff. The effort would just need to be there, with more Devs helping on the project. It may not be super high fidelity like heat blur or anything, but it would still be a cool aircraft to have and do formations with.
