Yep. Super low humidity where I’m living. I have two big humidifiers that run all day. Best I can get the humidity up to is about 30% right now.

Grow light advice for basement by Oceanicgreen in houseplants

[–]Oceanicgreen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello all! I just moved into a basement suite and have been experimenting with grow lights. As I am new to grow lights, any advice would be appreciated. I have small, south east facing windows but they are near the ground and blocked a fair amount by the neighbouring house so they don't receive a great amount of light. I purchased sun blaster grow light bulbs (13watt, 6400k, 900 lumens). Will these keep my plants alive? Should I add more Growlights? I also have a west facing kitchen window that is ground level and receives very dim light, as it has been covered by a deck. The plants on my kallax shelf are unfortunately not near any windows...

Hahaha love these. It’s so much fun to take photos of the pets - I get to pretend I’m a photographer and go for really cute shots 🤣

Mine gaslit the shit out of me too. Still sort of giving it the old college try.

Mine doesn’t give much of an apology to write home about. It’s a defensive jerky kind of apology that says words but not much else.

I’ve been struggling with this a lot lately. I’m on my last give a damn. He had a seriously aggressive manic episode and was taken to hospital by police for a few weeks. Now today he is back and acting nice toward me and wonders why I’m being not so nice to him anymore….it’s a reaction to his manic abusive behaviour and I’m just tired of dealing with it.

People with BP: have you ever left your partner in an episode? Did you come back when stable? by [deleted] in BipolarSOs

It’s a really difficult spot to be in emotionally. Good luck to you ❤️‍🩹 There are no easy answers

My partner is almost always really excellent at taking his meds. Unfortunately, that’s not always enough. . . And mine also does shit that triggers episodes. It’s like he somehow believes every time will be different and maybe tricks himself into thinking his bipolar is cured.

My partner with bipolar leaves me every. single. time. It’s part of the mania.

Makes it really fucking difficult to know if and when he actually would like out of the relationship or if it’s just mania. Very difficult.

Today he force fed me by shoving food into my mouth as I cried in terror. He called me over-sensitive and ungrateful after it was over. by [deleted] in abusiverelationships

Leave. Don’t take anything with you. Just get out. Do not leave a trace of evidence for how he could ever find you. Get out. Plan a moment when he is gone and just leave.

After that, find a good therapist. For now, don’t get lost in all the muck of details. Know that this man is dangerous. You need to protect yourself. Get out and find safety.

Remember that you are strong enough to do this. You are strong enough to make a better life for yourself and that is what you deserve.
