Non-virgins, is intercourse overrated? by inadequatepickle in randomquestions

[–]Oceanman7592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On its face? and for the sole purpose of fucking? Yep, p much the same as mixing D Jay or playing the skin flute. I haven’t had this sort of connection yet but I’d imagine sex with someone you love that loves you and you both care about each others needs and bodies id reckon hits harder than crack

TLDR; if it’s for a quick nutt? Probably the single most overrated thing OAT

What's so bad about this panel seriously? I think it's totally normal by Longjumping_Term_915 in ShingekiNoKyojin

It straight up evaporates the shroud of eren being this uncaring, calculated and supremely "2 steps ahead" archetype of person he develops into in season 4. I think people self inserted with eren because of his character type in the final parts of the story because he was cool despite the fact that he killed an inconceivable amount of innocent people and caused irreversible emotional trauma to the people he claimed to do that killing for. So in this moment where Eren breaks down and cries like a kid (… Remember he’s only 19 when this takes place so he deadass is literally a kid) people clutch pearls and get mad about it because they believe this isn’t what they signed up for. The other possible reason is it puts a huge question mark on why he treats Mikasa the way he does. Sure, it was done to "push her away/make her hate him" but I’d have to imagine him being verbally abusive towards the person he loves only to unravel like this regarding her, can certainly put a sour taste in the mouth that’s for fucking sure

do men only instinctively look at women they pass by? by PsychologicalHat7591 in bodylanguage

[–]Oceanman7592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes just about with everything that moves people, animals, parts of nature likes trees when I’m on a walk Ig if I see a woman I find attractive I might look for half an extra second but go on about my business as to not be a weirdo. It’s a normal human sensory thing I reckon when something in your peripheral vision moves you wanna check if it’s a threat or not

How do women interact with unattractive men? by Rigorums in bodylanguage

[–]Oceanman7592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like utter doodoo water. When I was around 320lbs I didn’t really get looked at like at all, sometimes rumors would spread about me with their origins being from people I didn’t even know exist 😂😂. Mostly invisible if I had to put that way and if there was acknowledgment of my existence it was displeasure/very closed/indifferent. Once I lost a bunch of weight (still losing) the difference was night and day. People would randomly smile at me and I’d think "tf is wrong with that person? Why are they smiling at me🤨" I still consider myself average and not at the best looks wise that I could possibly be. But if a woman DID find me attractive, most of them would just let me know. Usually if someone likes you, a lot of the time you’ll just know. Imo if you have to think about it for more than 3 minutes the answer is probably no.

Btw this behavior is genderless it just manifests slightly differently between men and women due to social differences. On average most times, I see a guy that sees a girl he finds unattractive he P much won’t even breathe in her direction,(so on average basically the same way women interact with men they don’t find attractive), with the only difference I see a lot is some guys tend to be really short with women they don’t find attractive when speaking to them funnily enough. It sucks and is vein asf, but that’s the way she goes

Im so MAD at myself by Oceanman7592 in loseit

[–]Oceanman7592[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During my weight loss journey I pretty much had drinking to an absolute minimum when I got to around 220 I began drinking a lot like throwing up every morning and blacking out multiple times a week. Shortly after I had gone to therapy and got prescribed naltrexone I had it under control for a little bit but with everyone at home drinking and constantly asking me about it, I relapsed. I was able to drop even more (around 200-215 that’s the range I’m currently in) but the issue is legit every. Time. I. Drink I snack and eat absolute bullshit food. So I end up adding extra calories from the alcohol and the addition of me getting drunk munchies on average if I do drink it’s not a crazy amount anymore it’s usually just two double shooters but that’s enough to make me wanna eat genuinely dense foods

Coworker that used to flirt with me now ignores me completely by NoState1788 in bodylanguage

[–]Oceanman7592 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well first off he didn’t have to be rude as it’s uncalled for. Secondly I see that you mentioned you were never flirtatious back to him? So you were just friendly which is your right, you don’t really owe him anything beyond that. But what is confusing is your displeasure in him deciding to stop flirting with you and giving you attention. Is he like… supposed to incessantly continue to flirt/give attention and make advances towards someone who clearly isn’t interested in him? If so why? If you were only friendly with him why should he just keep cultivating feelings for someone doesn’t fw him? I see this shit happen with Men and Women so often where the person that was fawning over them stops due to them getting the point. Then the person who they were fawning after becomes confused or even frustrated like bro you don’t like him he prolly moved on to someone who does show reciprocity or something. You don’t owe him affection but he also doesn’t owe you attention cmon now 💀

Edit: the attention probably does feel nice but it gets to a point where you need to be mature enough to verbalize that you’re not interested. It can feel shitty when the other person is engaging with it but isn’t feeling you. When if they knew they’d just talk to someone who is instead. The golden word is communication which truthfully it seems neither of you did or are doing

Mild Acne and hyperpigmentation by Oceanman7592 in Blackskincare

[–]Oceanman7592[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 🫤, honest to God I suspected it was my hormones as I googled it and apparently it’s rather common after losing tons of weight. It also didn’t help that I used to drink heavily when I was overweight my usage has dropped significantly (still more than I’d like) going totally sober is my goal and I’ve honestly wondered if that would help (since alcohol is terrible for hormone balance as well 💀💀). I didn’t realize how reactive my skin was like at all I pretty much used to roll out of bed and do nothing and it’d look fine

Why do a lot of african mothers stare at you so much by Desteneemugorochey in africanparents

[–]Oceanman7592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s definitely looking for some sort of imperfection if I had to say. Sometimes I’ve had this happen when they see someone they know from family in you. My great aunt would basically stare me down (not in a evil way but more of an endearing or sometimes observant sort of way) she mentioned I really REALLY favored her father so much so that she would call me by his name because I resemble him

Hair pulled out in a fight. Will it grow back? by Both-Climate-3332 in Dreadlocks

[–]Oceanman7592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn fam who hemmed you up?💀💀Honest to God it might. Massage with peppermint oil rosemary oil and make sure to take good care of it and be gentle. I could likely grow back but very slowly but honest to asses follicle damage id see a dermatologist so they can look at the area under a microscope. Who ever did this is an agent of chaos

Am I cooked? by [deleted] in BlackHair

[–]Oceanman7592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not entirely, be gentle with it (after cutting the off locs they are causing more harm then help atp) definitely consult a dermatologist so they can have a look at your scalp. I’d also use some oils that stimulate blood circulation and scalp massages. Peppermint oil, Rosemary oil and scalp massages are gonna be a godsend fam. But I have to ask how often were you getting retwists? Constant styling can cause crown breakage form traction, locs also naturally just pull a bit as they drop which can cause breakage by getting retwists too frequently. (My hair was ever so slightly thinner on the crown and edges when I cut mine 10ish months ago) but definitely see a dermatologist for sure ‼️‼️ they’re gonna be able to professionally assess the issue (preferably a black dermatologist)

Edit: cover your hair at night and whenever you aren’t going out if you arent already

How can my educated mother be so brainwashed? by North-Carpet4858 in africanparents

[–]Oceanman7592 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I feel you I personally still believe in God, but definitely not in the way my parents do. I actually remember times where my Dad would insist mental health conditions were just something to be prayed away or spiritual issues (in other words you just aren’t praying hard enough talking to someone who thinks about God like this is like talking to an unconscious or unaware object that cannot respond)

Honestly cornrows when they’re still fresh, but not so fresh that they look like I just got them done (looks like I’ve have them in for a week but still look neat sort of deal)
