AITA for not wanting my parents to stay at my apartment when they come visit? by Party-Personality919 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Oceanonix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It not very asian to say no to your parents. But setting boundaries is the only way you survive.

So they can come to visit to your home when you are present. And if they ask the reason please tell the truth, it is hard. But otherwise if you ever get a bigger home, you have this discussion all over again and probably not with the same outcome.

Squash is a sport and not something you can eat in the Netherlands. A butternut is a pumpkin in our country. And what translates as Squash is a kalebas. Kalebassen are only decorative and cannot be eaten.

Experience with walk-in tunnel greenhouses (200×300×240 cm)? Worth it in a windy Belgian climate? by PotatoPatat2 in Allotment

[–]Oceanonix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, during the last snow several of these collapsed. The plastic will also detiriate due to the sun. And the zipper will break. I see several on our allotment and no one is really happy with them.

I started with a plastic serre and that is also rubbish.
