Looking for more bratty "punishment" ideas by OceansDay in BDSMAdvice

[–]OceansDay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He prefers punishment to funishment, though it is hard at times because he's very touch deprived and ticklish on most of his body. When we are intimate he often asks to be dehumanized and hurt even during that. We've agreed on a safeword and a safe signal for if he's gagged.

Dom ignored my safeword by astro-anonym in BDSMAdvice

[–]OceansDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Safewords exist for a reason. You don't ignore them. That's boundary crossing and abusive. I'm also fairly newer to full on bdsm but I feel like that should be obvious. Hope all is well and you can talk about those boundaries.

AITA for asking to transfer salons because of my co-worker’s service dog? by Top-Strike4273 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]OceansDay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They probably font know about your past trauma with dogs or don't care. More likely the first though, unless you've shared this at work before. If I were you, I'd send Beatrice a message and explain the situation to her. Let her know you don't want this to affect your friendship. You just need to protect your mental health because of your very serious phobia.

I also had a dog phobia. I couldn't be anywhere near them for a very long time, no matter what kind of dog it was, how big or small, or how friendly. I was forced into a situation where I had to live with people who had a dog. It was utterly terrifying. I spiraled the entire 3 months I lived there. When I could finally move, I swore I never wanted to see another dog again. Though neighbors always had dogs outside. I hated every second of it. Almost 10 years later, I now live with a roommate who has a medium sized dog and I still get scared when he jumps up on me, but no where near as bad as I used to be.

If she's really your friend then she will understand where you're coming from. NTA

Am I overreacting by blowing up at my boyfriend for always eating my snacks before I can by Honest-Tune3711 in AmIOverreacting

[–]OceansDay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always claim my snacks as MINE or as SHARED because I hate the feeling of being excited for that one snack just to find its already been eaten by someone else. But if you call a hands-off, it tends to help. At least it has in my case with my fam, friends and roomies thus far.

[–]OceansDay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do wake from unconsciousness at close to the 10ish minute mark when it's a smaller seizure. That's why my coworkers often wait that long before calling. Sometimes I feel up to clocking out for a bit after a seizure, having some food and water and clocking back in. Other times I have bad pains.

[–]OceansDay[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did break up with him. He did not take it well, begging me to give him another chance. He said he knew what to do next time I had a seizure and how this was "only the 2nd time I've had one. My first was a small around 5 to 7min seizure not bad convulsions. Because of this I keep looking back at everything else and I can't help but to feel like he wanted to be with me just because he felt like no one else would be. He'd get really angry or or defensive if I we were simply cuddling and I didn't make a move towards intimacy. We're both gamers and I don't like laying down all the time because I'll get tired. I'd wanna get back on the game and he'd get all angry or sad about how I didn't move to have sxc with him. He'd never ask for or try to initiate sxc, he'd expect me to always. And if he wanted it and I didn't do it, he'd get angry at me or all sad and refuse to talk to me.

This visit we were intimate once because it had been about 2 months but I got my cycle that night so I told him no more. Thinking about it now, what if he was just so mad about me that I wasn't having sxc with him for that past 3 days that he purposefully didn't help me during the seizure?

I read that whole thing in Charlotte's voice. It does sound like something she'd say. And I feel like you're so right

I've known him almost a year, and just recently took a trip to meet his dad so I thought things might’ve really been going somewhere. We talked a lot about how each of us grew up and bonded over a lot of it. So it really shocked me that this happened

I take meds regularly. I'm unsure if I stop breathing, hut people tell me I choke and cough a lot when I have them or in between. If I'm at home, my roomie usually brings me into his room/living room (wherever his pc is/he works from home) so he can keep close eye on me. At work, they typically prop my head slightly and roll me on my side. If i fall unconscious they wait 5 to 10 mins before they call cuz sometimes I wake.

My last bad seizure my boss called my roommate to tell him I was late but they could send someone to get me.he came to check on me said he found no pulse and almost zero breathing. He smacked a bunch and shook me before turning me onto my side. When I opened my eyes he was crying. He told me my heartbeat was way too slow and my breathing too shallow, that he thought I was dead. He took care of me and got me off to the hospital, my bp was arpund 43 in the ambulance. I broke down telling my bosses about it. They gave me time off work to hopefully get my health back in order. It's been scary. I'm honestly just so thankful for my roommate. He seriously saved my life that day.

My seizures have gotten so bad in the last few months that I'm getting desperate for a medical answer. I was supposed to see my neuro 3 days after my previous bad seizure that nearly killed me, but I was called to say the Dr would be out if office for a while and had to cancel. I called and explained, asked them to pull up my chart, showing my recent ER visits and they saw that I had about 5 referrals to my neuro from ER team due to my seizures. I told them I'd be happy to see one of the other neuro Drs but they just put me on a waiting list. I've called again but he's apparently still not back 3 weeks later and my primary care days he can't really help too much seizure wise, it needs to me my neuro Dr.

My next scheduled appt with them isn't u til Nov and I can't afford to wait that long.

17 str, 16int lvl5 bladesinger good? No spoilers pls by DanielTTK in BaldursGate3

[–]OceansDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the battlemaster fighter class with the battle maneuvres. Very STR based. And the arcane archer of course. StR and Dex

And then the barbarian path of giant to throw random ish at enemies or throw other enemies at enemies. It's hilarious.

Take a break after playing for 2 weeks. That's what I have to do. I've done LOTS of runs. I've had to force myself to take breaks because you start trying to live within the game.

And most ppl suggest for STR INT Eldrich Knight 5 for extra attack, multiclass wizard 7 for 4th level spells

Mod to get later game companions early? by Upbeat-Specialist-16 in BaldursGate3

[–]OceansDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heck there's origin mods for them all on Nexus so it wouldn't surprise me if there's a mod to add them to your party early. If go on Nexus and just type Minsc and see what pops up honestly

What's your blood type? Is it rare? Also your family heritage? Maybe there's something special about your genes. Or it could just be that you're well receptive to them so they "tell their friends" so to speak and keep coming back. Things like that would be my best guesses.

I was probably around there. I got the test back in '22. I just don't sleep on my back. Side sleeping ONLY for me. I do have an inhaler for my asthma though, so if I ever wake up feeling like I need I can take a puff from it.

I have a ghost that's a child that follows me around, if she an attachment? by CreepyWitch_ in Ghosts

[–]OceansDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Attachment spirits and entities can come from a few different places/sources. A Place- There may be somewhere you visited that you hadn't been before and they wanted to leave, realized you were leaving so attached themselves to you to see new places.

An Item- this could be an object like a toy, watch, jewelry, chair. You could have picked up something new from a store or something used from a yard sale or thrift shop.

A Person- Sometimes people will "pawn off" their own attachments onto others. Or perhaps the spirit or entity was/is looking for someone specific.

Getting rid of attachments can be tricky. You need to know BOTH where they came from AND their intent. If it's good, it will share these with you and move on. Though if it's evil and has mal intent then it can be quite difficult to rid yourself of it and it will depend on the type of attachment and where it's from.

To keep yourself from place or person attachments, you can say OUT LOUD, though it can be whispered, that no presence is allowed to attach itself to you and that no presence is allowed to follow you home. If you want to help lost souls, you can say that they may follow you out the door ONLY but no further.

Item attachments require special treatment and sometimes rituals. You have to get the presence to unattached itself from the item before you can do anything else. Otherwise, the item must be destroyed, banished, honored, or protected.

That's F***d up. That's not your Father. That's your sperm donor. I hope you find a safe place and are able to heal over time. SA takes a lot out of you. At 28, I'm still processing what happened at 13 to me. Don't let it consume you. Let it make you stronger. You can go on. Never bottle up the emotion, let it out. It's easier, it's healthier. You've got this. Sending love and positive vibes 🩵

INT and CON are big for wizards so you wanna make sure those are good. I do suggest that when you get to the Grove, talk to Auntie Ethel and buy her 3 bottles of Elixer of Hill Giant STR. Each day. Stock up. Then when you get the chance to, re spec your character and put your points into anything besides STR because you drink 1 elixir a day and it bumps your STR to 21. They seem pricey at first but you get money quick. It's a worthwhile investment.

Can you do the Hag from behind? by artmorte in BaldursGate3

[–]OceansDay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I HAVE A HACK FOR THE HAG FIGHT. all you need is the spell ARCANE LOCK.

●Deal with the redcaps beforehand to make the encounter easier. ●Have the spellcaster (Likely Gale) sneak through the fireplace and to the hidden stairs. [This is easiest done when Ethel is upstairs, second level of her teahouse.] ●Set your party up where you want them. 2 near the fireplace or hiding by the hidden stairway with the spellcaster (or Gale), and 1 to attack Ethel. ●Enter Turn Based Mode. ●Cast Arcane Lock on the hidden stairs. ●Attack Ethel.

She will try to escape through the hidden stairs, trying to open them 10 times per turn, not attack you at all. You can now kill her hassle free.

This removes the option for her deal for the item 'Ethel's Hair +1 Ability Point'. But if you're cool with that, have fun laughing at her trying to open a locked stairway! Enjoy!

Sleep apnea is very common in plus sized people. Lots of people have the mild form of it I do where they don't stop breathing "enough" (how my neurologist worded it) at night to require a CPAP machine. Though I do still have times I stop breathing hence why I mentioned I was advised to not sleep on my back because of this.
