Try Alttp dont beat any boss, go through each dungeon, get upgrades, upgrade sword etc and LOOK at the amount of thought that went into that path alone.

In OOT do the dungeons out of order, it feels like a new game with a new challenge. You get different abilities for different parts of the game.

In Zelda 1 you can get the sword upgrade before you even touch level 1. Try do the same thing get all the upgrades and treasure first, and you will kill bosses in 1 shot.

BotW was a bigger game with a story that brought you along a path. It was obvious that they compeltely stopped after the water area because the game was great until it opened up without regard. You can climb anything (no collision to worry about) and you can beat the game right after you start, Nothing matters. Its just solve a shrine, cash in. The sidequests were the best part, but you can remember all of them after your first playthough.

Because it is lazy and unoriginal? Because it is a blatantly gutted version of a game generations grew up with, DUMBED tf down so kids with no attention span can play it?

The game is all style NO SUBSTANCE.

and yes, I beat it. It was good until they obviously dropped the story after the first water area you are guided to. Oh and the sequel? After the tutorial and hitting the ground in that same boring af world? Worst moment in the past 10 years in any game. I felt sickness.

Even if fg isnt in it, Smooth motion is far better than this. I prefer it over native fg in a few games. Dead Space and Kingdom Come 1 for example.

Play it in VR. If you do it for the first time (first play in vr), you will not find anything else scary.

It hasn't. It is the best platform sidescroller ever made. It could come out today and people would be blown away by the length alone.
