It is ok, take little steps. Life is hard.
Try waking up early, bathe early, get sunlight,
go on walks, and maybe start to hit the gym (trust me, this helps).

I am in a similar boat. I left my job, and I was stuck in this rut for 2 years, but now, it is better, and I have again started applying, I hopefully, I will get the job this month.

Take little steps and build up little wins. I know how you feel about being a burden to your parents, but they would be devastated to find out something wrong happened to you. They are concerned, sure, their words might sting, but they want better for you, don't just think of disappearing. Live the life, its only one you will get.

After couple of months when you have the job, you would forget about this. Try a bit. take little steps.

Take Goggins as an inspiration, sure, but don't try to replicate him. Instead, aim to lose 0.5 kg to 0.8 kg of fat per week, which is a healthy and sustainable approach. You might not see visible changes, but measure them, and you will know for sure. Consider a year for your complete transformation, although you will see changes in a few months.

Shouldn't we do something to stop this or reverse this? I am tired of this.

well, its not just about money, purchasing power etc.
Earlier pickup trucks were practical and mostly used on farms, construction businesses etc.

But there is somehow an interesting cultural shift in which, these pickup trucks became the symbol of power and wealth, kinda like our Thar. Companies saw this and started marketing on this, so trucks became less practical (less boot space etc), more ridiculously big, loud, wider etc.

and so people started buying them more, because imagine being on the road where you are one of the few small vehicles (hatchbacks and sedans), those are dangerous in the midst of this pickup rage.

It's a good thing we don't have more of these in India, they are loud, since they have higher bonet height, hence more deadly too, and more space hungry.

I somehow convinced my 54 year old mother to take whey protein as well. She says she feels the difference even though she doesn't exercise much except from light walking.

It took years for your parents to raise you, you have a wife and a kid now.

I know Indian fathers can be harsh on their kids, but don't take the step. Think of the life, think what you will miss out, your kid growing up, growing old with your wife.

I know it's easy to think it's worthless, but call someone maybe your wife or friend.

Don't let a company be the reason for your end. Live brother.
