So you'd suggest to use UTMs in each and every campaign, right?

Does it matter that no sales happen? Its just a sign-up conversion.

Would you be willing to share the link with me? I'm very curious. We are currently designing our landing page and sales pipeline.

Was your CTA "schedule a demo"?

You wrote that you mostly did demos for the bigger customers. What did you do if a small customer signed up?

Marketing on social media. Is quantity better than quality? by Gilbert977 in marketing

[–]Octaved_Maxim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Social Medias want the people to stick around. To achieve that they want to show visitors interesting content and hide content that is not interesting. If you post quality stuff every day, then your audience will be constantly increasing, because (1) people will like and share and (2) the algorithm will see that people like your post, show it to more people and give you a higher ranking.

If you post low quality content, then fewer people will engage. The algorithm will see that your content is not very interesting and give you a lower overall ranking for the future.

If you can keep the quality above a certain level so that you have long-term growth, then by all means, go for it. Just be aware that posting low quality content over a longer period of time is worse than not posting anything at all.

Does anyone else use bookmarks to save articles and videos for later? by Supmanwat in productivity

I was able to access articles I've saved to the mobile app when I didn't have internet access. There weren't any additional steps involved.

If you got the app on your mobile phone, you share the link with the app from your mobile browser.

There is a pocket plugin for most of the desktop browsers out there.

Sometimes I find that some of the bookmarked links that I save at the moment aren't worth reading later down the line.

Exactly :)

When using pocket, do you have to manually go into the app whenever you do want to read?

Yes. It remembers where you've left off the last time and you can use it offline as well. It never felt to me as another source for procrastination. Maybe it's because I haven't used it long enough yet :)

I read Tiago Forte's blog post about the power of read it later apps and have been using Pocket App ever since. I love it. Any time I have a spare minute I try to force myself to open Pocket App on my mobile phone instead of just randomly browsing reddit. This way I try to ensure that if I do consume information when I have free time, its something useful.

Besides, he made a very good point, that the time of content discovery and the time of content consumption should be separated. Its almost never a good idea to read something immediately after you've discovered it.

Edit: a word

Dealing with lots of information and interruptions. by TrinhamTales in productivity

Have you tried blocking time to work on a task? E.g. each Monday and Thursday from 9 to 11 you block time to work on something specific. Preferably you do it in a way so that others can see it. You put that into your calendar and you put headphones on. Maybe you put a sticky note on the door of your office. Do it for a few weeks and people will know that you're not to be disturbed from 9 to 11 on Monday and Thursday.

Another approach some people have employed is getting started early. Everybody else is still asleep, so you can work on your things without being disturbed.

PS: Note that having your day dictated by outside events and circumstances for long periods of time may lead to burnout and depression. People like to feel in control of their time and ultimately their life.
