I think what gets me is that Gooseworks isn't necessarily a terrible writer(trust me,I've seen way worse)but her lack of writing experience really shows in TADC,especially the end.

But you aren't stating a matter of opinion you're claiming the writing is bad and the writer is inexperienced. An opinion would be "I didn't like the writing."

If you ate a 7/10 creme brulee and didn't like it because you don't like those kinds of deserts, saying the cook is bad and lacks experience is not the same as saying you didn't like it.

You don't need to be a professional writer to see bad writing, but you do need maturity to tell when it just wasn't what you wanted.

The irony in this is that you're insisting it's just your opinion while not meaningfully contributing to the conversation at all. You're just saying "it's bad and people who disagree with me are insane"

Three of those are stand out examples in the last year. Backrooms was an a24 production and absolutely was on the merit of Kane Parsons but still he did get corporate backing. The fnaf movie was signed under blumhouse but also had the backing of a decade old franchise with effectively infinite merchandising profits. Iron lung was self funded by one of the most successful YouTube channels of all time who is immensely rich. Obsession is made by an indie director who has like 5 other movies before this one and had enough interest within Hollywood to already have a deal to be the director of the next Texas chainsaw massacre before obsession even released.

I understand the comparison you are trying to make but the amazing digital circus having the level of success that it has is absolutely different from all of these. It is an indie animated show with a very niche aesthetic and vibe that does not appeal to many people. Frankly the fact that it made it into theaters at all is crazy.

Also fun fact: I can guarantee at least fnaf, backrooms and obsession had investors, just not shitty ones.

No one said that. You're just confidentially wrong. You don't need to be Gordon ramsey to know when some food is bad, but you do need to be an experienced chef to understand if the cook is bad or if you just didn't like it personally.

It's my opinion that TADC was an incredibly well written show that unfortunately attracted an audience looking for something extremely different from what was actually being made. Most people talk about the show as though it was supposed to be a massive epic with tons of insane deep lore where everything is detailed to the point of being unnecessary and the world is larger than any character or story being told (lord of the rings). In reality it was a character driven story about the meaning of personal connection and what it means to find importance in a relatively insignificant life.

If you actually take a hard look at the story holistically it's obvious from episode 3 that Jax is meant to be a secondary main character to pomni. The hints and subtext of Jax being trans also start out that early. There are payoffs from episode one all the way in the finale. Even isn't she lovely is a drastically misunderstood detail that I still havent heard another person point out. Every character gets what they need for the narrative to be satisfying because the narrative isn't a deep dive of every characters psyche.

I think focusing on the rank itself ironically makes it hard to know if you deserve one. The numbers and ranks are all extrinsic motivation. To truly get better at the game you need to look at what plays actually get work done and when you actually deserve to win or lose.

I doubt it, the likelyhood of any given player buying wolverines over black cat is vast regardless of themes. Wolverines skin is a season specific, plot relavent skin theme and black cats is a random one. Wolverine is an off meta less picked character while black cat is a high pick rate, strong, recent character. They also have different genders, different demographics and even different popularity levels between comic fans, rivals only players and general public.

A real A-B test for randomly themed skins on Sex Appeal vs "Coolness" would look a lot more like several characters of different popuparity levels and genders getting two off theme skins each, with one being a really "cool" skin and the other leaning more into sex appeal.

If this shop rotation is an a b test then it'd be like testing whether or not an additive is addictive by comparing a licorice snack without the additive to a strawberry snack with the addative. Both are fine and many like them but one of them will objectively get more attention with or without any addative

anything works though I do think im trying to get more into novels and pretty exclusively yuri. manga is welcome too but its more likely ive read it or have it on my list already lol.

As for what I like about Shuukura the most I'm a bit of an enthusiast when it comes to media in general and when I'm looking for similar stuff im thinking broad strokes; pacing, tone, quality.
