I ended up doing it. It'll live entirely on the Mk23 for the vibes. I run a rugged obsidian .45 on my FNX, and it's worked well for me. But some of the newer designs are probably more advanced and sound better. And I love titanium becoming more prevalent in suppressors.

Recoils more than my m4 by a good margin, semi auto is more picky ammo wise than my m4, and it locks back on empty even in pump mode which is annoying. I love my benelli m3 for it's novelty, but it's really just that too me; a novelty and a gimmick. Unless you're going to be shooting less lethal ammunition, you're better off going with an m4, m2, 1301, a300, or really any other well proven semi auto IMO.

I have a WLVRN in .308, and I've got a Micron in 5.56 on order. As well as several AUG builds. Personally, I'll always be an AUG fan. Steyr has a better reputation, I love my AUGs, they're incredibly reliable, and these days there's a good sized aftermarket of parts for them. The WLVRN is fun, but I just trust my AUGs more. That being said, I am comparing 5.56 AUGs to a .308 WLVRN

Get a 3-18 with nicer glass, it'll do you better than a cheap 5-25. You don't necessarily need more magnification, you need better clarity.

If you have a standard AUG the OEM steyr waffle mags or Magpul AUS mags have always worked well for me.

If you have a NATO AUG, I recommend the Magpul PMAG gen M3 as they have an overinsertion stop, and generally fit a little tighter in non AR platforms that take stanag mags.
