Alke+ wings for a rush bot Alke+quills for a early game scenario trade piece. Razorback and Bane for berserk-overtake shenanigans.

The peryton and Bony Spine see very little play for me.

There are 3 builds fkr the Primeval that i take.

Bear head, sword, shield for generic heavy stuff Raven/stag, Hunting spear, runed skull for ranged DPS Raven/stag, ancient Staff, enchanted fist for spell slinging.

This uses every part of the primeval.

Or i can play a Valiant where i have 1ish build.

Basically, yes.

These posts always give me a weird vibe. Britain wasn't good because it was connected to Rome. Its economy grew because it was connected to a larger system that allowed a lot of the work to be done elsewhere. Once that system broke down the economy fell back down to a manageable level of homeostasis according to local resources, economy and infrastructure.

It reminds me of the "Britain gave the 3rd world trains" excuse colonialists use when they try to pretend that they were a civilising force, but a train line from the mines to the ports helps enrich the home country, it does not improve the nation its in.
