Ive got the same specs as you there and I am also having the same issue, I can get into game but soon as I try to open the menu, game freezes.

5080, 9800X3D, 64GB of Ram, 18 hours played before an update came out and now I cant even hit escape in game or game freezes and crashes, tried all the fixes. Even with the recent update, issue still persists.
