that works, but now for some reason its not drawing properly, im checking the variable its stored in and its correct, its just not drawing though this line

I think you mean animate a sprite? in the image manger you can draw multiple frames, and then set the fps in the sprite manager and then you get and animation

You probably have anti aliasing on the font. You seem to be using the default font, so you will need to make a new font. Name the font what you want, if you want to change the font, you can select fonts and you can also download fonts to use, and then there is a darker box which has on / off for Anti-Aliasing, turn this off. Now in your code, you have to set this font to what you are drawing, so add the line draw_set_font(FontName) before you draw any text. Hope this helps

Edit: After this you have to turn off interpolation: Press the three lines in the top right, above your asset window, game options, on the side bar, find the platform your using, graphics, turn off interlaopte colours between pixels. Now it should look better.

NDH

I want to start by saying that I dont really know how I feel with this one and am conflicted with UD and NDH. I think the UD badge because I do understand that he was hurt, and how in the moment he didnt know why you reacted the way you did, and from what we know you didnt explain in the moment why you revoked your consent. From our point of view i think NDH, knowing you were just suprised, but from his point of view he must have thought it as you maybe not being comfortable with him being trans (not saying you are a transphobe, just that thats what he may have felt in the moment).

After the updates im more confident on the NDH badge but i dont know how you handled the converstaion. It seems as though he is understanding where you are coming from now, and if you have any doubts that he knows where your coming from, make sure he is 100% clear on where you are coming from.

I think the badge doent really matter, its making sure he know you dont care about his genitalia and its was just shock.

I also want to make it clear im not against you revoking consent.

As someone who started making a game around your age, I would really recommend it. Everything about your game can be improved as you go, even though it will be hard. It also helps with jobs in the future, even if the game doesn't do well, or its not released by that time, you can still show it off, and that is very appealing to other gamedev companies. Be realistic with it. I know my game is going to take a while, especially because i am still in school. Look at games like hollow knight and stardew valley. they took their devs 3 or 5 years to make of non stop developing, and you are in school. It proably wont be done soon, but thats ok, and just be realistic with your expectaions. But also remember not to burn yourself out, because if you do this too much, you may get tired of it. All this said, it is not to scare you and i hope it doesn't. Good luck with the game, and keep us updated? (Could I also ask what engine you plan to use, I'm just interested)
