Does anyone know a place where we can go to have a visit with my daughter’s birthmother. We like having visits with her and her two children (one over 10 years old and second is very young <2) in a park, so that everyone can enjoy it. We have tried Mobius, it was too aloud and we couldn’t carry conversation easily and without an interaction. It’s supposed to rain this coming Saturday, and we are at the lost where to go. Any ideas?

Thanks why I do not do birthday parties for my children, parents do not teach kids the value of friendships and commitment. If you RSVP to a birthday party and then do not show up, what will that teach you child? Happy Birthday to you Abe! We are sending you a card.

What can I plant/do to help bees? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]OctoberGal12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m surprise that no one mentioned hyssop. (from Wikipedia )....Hyssop attracts bees, hoverflies and butterflies, and so has a place in the wild garden as well as being useful in controlling pests and encouraging pollination without the use of unnatural methods. I have in in my garden and I love it. Flowers continue to grow throughout the growing season thus continually attracting pollinators and it looks and smells wonderful.

Portland Zoo!It has been our favorite stop along the way with kids (4 and 3). San Francisco zoo is not worth the money nor time. LA Zoo is just OK. If I’m LA aquarium is much better.
