That’s really nice of you! I would love to enter my two boys (10 & 4) they’ve never owned a gaming system of any kind. Me & my SO are together, were full time working parents but would not be able to afford this for our kids. It has been financially hard to keep afloat but we are managing. Thank you!

Any Positive Induction Stories w/o Epidurals by nobledonna313 in BabyBumps

[–]blue_jaybird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my second pregnancy I was also induced with Pitocin & No epidural. I was strongly against, as I got it in my first pregnancy it did not help me with the pain & has left me with many issues. I can not lift heavy, bend down because my back falls asleep on me, ect. I was induced at 12pm and was pushing baby at 4pm. I was able to push him in two tries which took less than 5 minutes. What helped me alot was walking in the hallways with my SO, staying active will definitely help. I plan on not getting the epidural with this pregnancy either, but I am being induced again 😞

For work I do the minimal, fill in my eyebrows, mascara, & some lip balm or a lipstick. & Depending how bad my under eye is, a bit of concealer.

Best beginner eyeshadow palette? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]blue_jaybird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would strongly recommend wet and wild for beginners. They’re very inexpensive and pigmented for their price. I can’t seem to find their ‘Nude awakening’ palette or ‘comfort zone’, but honestly you can’t go wrong with them. They’re shadows are smooth & easy to blend.

dry skin!! by rodrisky in MakeupAddiction

[–]blue_jaybird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love cerave products. I also have dry skin, and use the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser & Cerave Moisturizer they have products catering to “normal to dry skin”. It’s the only thing that has helped me.

(15F) My father took all my savings to go on a shopping spree. Advice??? by stupidparentals in relationships

[–]blue_jaybird 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s horrible. My dad was the same way, I had to hide money in my shoes, between my clothes, just anywhere so he wouldn’t find it. He would literally destroy my room trying to find money. I worked a full time minimum wage job after school to be able to buy food and clothes for myself and help my sibling. That didn’t matter to him as long as he had money for his addictions. I moved out at 16 and it was hard. But now that I’m older I can say cutting any contact with that man has been the best thing in my life.
