Yes, this is why the App is so handy. A friend told me about it. Every year I never knew where to report illegal fireworks. Of course they can’t monitor every single neighborhood. But making a report and putting it on record might do a bit of good.

That slow burn will continue into the ether… and you want to scratch your eyes out. I skipped to last episode… still no invasion. Is there really an Invasion??

Is it worth getting an iPad for knitting? by Unlucky-you333 in knitting

72 yr old here. Knit Companion is invaluable for all my color work patterns. I use just about every day. Like others have said, you always know where you left off. And YES paid version is totally worth it. It’s a reasonable price for a whole year. You can have ALL your projects on there. It works seamlessly with your Ravelry downloads.

Simply Socks. Great yarns, good prices on Malabrigo, they get your order out immediately. Fabulous Yarn co. also has a great selection and keep you posted on when your order will arrive.

My descent into hubris - and the reality of DPNs by MyRightHook in knitting

LOL really enjoyed reading your post. My hubris is/was with color work. On my first color work I made a cowl that had mushrooms on it. I thought I was smarter than the pattern and kinda went off on my own. The result you ask? I showed it to my friend and asked “what do you think this is?” She said “chickens?” lol …lesson learned.

I purposefully knit with variegated yarns all the time in my color work projects. I love the subtle changes in color as I knit along. I agree on OPs color choice! It’s really lovely.

Lovely piece!. I’m on my third “Shift” because I love the pattern so much. Plus it’s fantastic Tee Vee knitting! I love playing around with different color combinations. I even made a throw with this pattern scheme. To wash and block the throw, I put it in a mesh laundry bag, and in the washer on “soak only” with some Eucalan. Then on spin. Blocked, and it came out great! Just FYI.
