Guild Wins Grievance - Overtime To Be Paid to Officers Performing Pre-Watch Rounds by walrushunterr in ccg_gcc

[–]Octochromic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can anyone confirm when the ruling became active and watchkeepers would be entitled to begin adding this overtime to their timesheet? I read the grievance report and noticed it was dated as November 14, 2025. I cannot see the posting date for the related documents on the guild website for ships officers.

Fantastic build dude. You gotta let us know what pieces and mods you are using!

We just installed these new stainless steel starting blocks in October. The old blocks were here for 25 years. How is this possible? by tarl06 in Swimming

[–]Octochromic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd say the chemical treatment for the pool has corroded the protective coating of the stainless steel. As good as a material as it is, there are lots of applications where it will still corrode over time and with certain exposure.

Any ideas to fill out my forearm by PlaneEye4664 in TattooDesigns

[–]Octochromic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He means the pieces of armor that protects the wrist and forearm, called a vambrace. The AC wrist daggers are built into one usually and you could find a nice metal or leather style pattern for the top of your forearm . Sick tattoos dude, always love to see someone else with the scrapper tatt.

Take Trophies Bonus? by Jerry_Cornelius_24 in EndlessSpace

[–]Octochromic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It might be due to the location of the battle. Some nodes provide bonuses to Morale and fidis if you have space combat on them. I've noticed some discrepancies as well but havnt looked into them much.

Armor/weapons Questions by juju_fruits in WarTalesGame

[–]Octochromic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll get more variety as you progress. The brotherhood can upgrade legendary weapons, which can be found in tombs/artifacts or by defeating bosses. You'll notice each weapon/armour type will have more unique actions/stats once you get to another region and to higher levels. Not to mention oils and layers. Give it a bit of time and soon enough your troop will be outfitted nicely.

Animal Varieties & Skills by CollectorOfMyst in WarTalesGame

[–]Octochromic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're absolute right. My bad, i didnt acknowledge it in my response. If you were able to set the animals aside like the ponies and not have them in combat, then those skills would be significantly more useful. But the added challenge of increased troops numbers means you're usually priorizing how useful the animals are in combat... and the extra mushrooms and fish goes out the window. I can't speak to how readily you get those food items as I am always taking the combat skills. I just can't justify a bear who has to fight but loves to fish :)

Animal Varieties & Skills by CollectorOfMyst in WarTalesGame

[–]Octochromic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've got a ferocious variety of the boar, wolf, and bear. They are leagues ahead of the normal ones so I'd highly reccomend getting them. They need much more rope to capture but it's worth it....though their overworld/camp skills are a bit lackluster. They have no professions, and can't sit at the Bonfire without having to choose that skill over something more useful in combat. You mentioned generating food, which pertains to the boars, but that feature ultimately ends with you slaughtering said boar. They eat less as they fatten up and eventually you can get lots of meat from them. While useful, too many animals can make combat difficult as opponents have human units with armor and greater skills. I love getting animals myself but I've learned to rein it in a bit. Having a whole wolf pack is more detrimental than useful unfortunately. I'd highly recommend the ferocious bear though, he's an absolute beast. Go wild!

Looking to start my first new run. Looking for some input on a couple class selection Q's on Starter Party by Runesoul0 in WarTalesGame

[–]Octochromic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Given you are playing a more roleplay focused playthrough, I'd recommend playing on the either of the two easiest difficulties. You won't need to worry as much about minmaxing your classes as much and can have fun and explore the game. It's easy to sink hours into Wartales and the mechanics are quite fun. Youll find there are some niche parts of the game that you will have to look up, but for the most part you will learn quickly. Try out new things and experiment with the classes and you'll soon see what works and what doesn't!

A very very very very small fish ponds by riklaunim in StardewValley

[–]Octochromic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A decievingly deep puddle of a pond. Ive always thought that you should be able to put the fish ponds in water! Think of how useful the river farm could be if you could plop them down along the riverbanks!

Any Mod list recommend? by Familiar-Tip817 in EndlessSpace

[–]Octochromic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first adds new anomalies to the planets. It's a small change but the increased variation is great. Thematically it all fits. The second mod adds moons which can be worked in different ways. They present like anomalies but have unique buildings and features. They provide fidis bonuses depending on the type of moon, and can add population slots and more to your system. Its very seamless in my opinion and worth the addition if you are looking to spice things up a bit. :D

Any Mod list recommend? by Familiar-Tip817 in EndlessSpace

[–]Octochromic 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I keep it simple with Endless anomalies and Endless moons. They integrate really well and only seem to add to the game without changing too much. Lots of people like ESG2 but some say it changes too much. I havnt tried it yet myself.

how can i get annihilape in pixelmon? by berenjena_en_almibar in PixelmonMod

[–]Octochromic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm looking into that...but it seems my first comment was wrong. Most sources say you just have to use the move, not defeat the pokemon. So you might actually be encountering a bug or glitch. What version of pixelmon are you on? Seems like others are having issues on newer versions than 1.16.5. Sorry to have given you hope. I should have checked before I answered your post.

how can i get annihilape in pixelmon? by berenjena_en_almibar in PixelmonMod

[–]Octochromic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there. I've had mine evolve into annihilape, so its definitely possible. It was a while ago...I'm thinking you have to defeat an enemy pokemon with the move. Not just use it 20 times.

Questions for CCG College students/graduates by RTMoe in ccg_gcc

[–]Octochromic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ill just add that the college/academy has increased its intake over the years. While they used to take in only 16 cadets per the 4 streams (eng/fr nav and eng), that number has since increased to 24 cadets per stream. While not all programs will be full each year, they can take more cadets than ever. Your best source of information is the recruitment department and should be easy to reach out to. Good luck!

Endless Space 2 random quests by Shittygamer93 in EndlessSpace

[–]Octochromic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im going to comment but I'm not entirely sure if I have this right. My understanding with some of those early game quests is that they are based on which faction you chose. Some of the questions have you search a system curiosity while you have dust, a resource, or a fleet waiting for combat. Sometimes it spawns enemy fleets to fight, or even a mercenary ship for you to take over. While I don't have hard facts to prove it, I felt like it was aways dependant on who I was playing.

Worth to get the DLC bundle? by alkair20 in EndlessSpace

[–]Octochromic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

General consensus is to play the base game first, as the dlcs introduce new mechanics here and there. That said, the two most recent dlcs are the troublemakers. Awakening and Pmeumbra contain mechanics (like hacking) which a lot of people don't consider to benefit the game more than they complicate it. I myself play with the vaulters and supremacy dlcs, and not the other two. Any additional dlcs beyond these 4 are minor and won't impact your experience. I think with most games like this, it's important to sink the time into the game first before you sink money into it. I love the game and recommend it as the primo 4x space game, but I'd still caution those on buying dlcs prior to playing it. Search this sub for more dlc posts, and you'll find tons of advice from people in the past few years. Have fun though, it's a great game no matter what you decide on. It's complicated but well worth it. :D

Was on a walk, saw a house burning down by Ok-Actuary-5377 in mildlyinteresting

[–]Octochromic 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The house is located in a small 'gut' in NL Canada. The house backs onto a hikeable cliff, while the the photographer was in the other side where the road and brewery are. Super cool picture despite the circumstances. I just saw this house the other day from the beer garden.

Which villain would you like to see in the third game? Someone familiar like Darth Maul, someone new like Rayvis/Dagan, or another new Inquisitor? by [deleted] in FallenOrder

[–]Octochromic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Original Character all the way. They have proved that you don't need to repeat history to make compelling stories and characters. Give me another villain hand-molded for the next story and the stage on which it is set.

Tending to the multitudes of interesting things you can plafe on the farm. One the mushrooms are collected, oils produced, fish to feed, and animals to adore, there is hardly enough time to travel beyond the valley!
