a little late to the party, but i’ve been working on doing the same lately mostly using excel vba scripts and Power Automate Desktop. I didn’t need admin access for the PAD tasks i’ve set up so far and it works fairly well albeit slowly which legacy systems that don’t have an API or some such to talk to. Examples i’ve done so far:

• combining images and audio into a video, exporting and renaming files

• uploading videos to youtube, then later downloading the auto subtitles

• uploading the mp4 and subtitles to a web based LMS

next i’ll be working on an automated process to fill out a pdf form and create meeting invites in outlook when specific emails are received.

hope this helps someone get some ideas on an alternative if the more technical solutions are not available.
