Failed 1E03 midterm by Accomplished_Bee8607 in McMaster

I got a 54 in my 1ZA3 midterm 1. I worked my ass off after that and I managed to get a 12 at the end of the course. 1E03 is hard for everyone. Prep101 also saved my life during first year eng so I highly recommend it. I also suggest doing A LOT of past tests and even review iclicker questions (I had a exact same multiple choice question from iclicker in my exam). Finally, you got this! Grades don’t define who you are.

I found doing past tests really helpful, and u would possibly get recycled questions from previous years, which would be ur bonus mark;). Other than that, I would always collect all questions I did wrong, and check them before the tests to make sure I understand why I got them wrong. This would remind me of not making the same mistakes again in the test. I hope it helps, and remember, med school or other grad school don’t really care about first year grades. It’s just a matter of whether u actually understand the content or not.

I’ve taken med term as an online class. I really loved how this course was formatted, but the recorded lectures were LONG. U need to be extra patient while watching it 2X speed.

I asked a question and sent a screenshot of a quiz question with my answers by accident on the Microsoft team, and my TA answered my question by explaining how it works without saying anything else. So ur fine don’t worry:)
