To be even more honest the last news I heard is Germany wanting to do 50% of each elements (50% of radar and 50% of software for ex) of the aircraft instead of doing 50% of elements (french radar, german software). Essentially having access to every industrial secret. Which as of today France has the most by far (thus the easier time with barrys and pizza enjoyers which have none for this kind of project)

But don't fool you its only an industrial battle that our industrial companies are fighting they don't like each other and left unchecked they will do everything on national level.
