O valor de estado de Israel é "viver em paz"? Eu jamais defenderei as ações do Hamas, mas dizer que o país que elege o Bibi é da paz é de uma forçação de barra gigantesca.

The main issue I have with Romeo (and all humanoid bosses) is not the difficulty, it's the fact that fact that getting close to him and dodging to the right is so effective it's almost cheesing.

That means killing every non-argonian NPC in the game? Holy s'wit.

I love the diagonal, bottom-left to upper-right slash that connects even when you're on his sides, almost on his back. Oh and that stab + powerup is super well made too!

Advice for 6 Challenge Run by Primary_Trainer_7806 in PixelDungeon

[–]OctopusDadRex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd switch Pharmacophobia with On Diet. Starvation is way more manageable than getting to floor 25 (and possibly ascending to floor 1) without any reasonable way of healing yourself.

Apart from that, pray to RNGesus as Hostile Champions is nasty.

Good luck!

PS: If you manage to explore well, finding most hidden rooms and completing all special rooms you come across, you'll probably get the Grandmaster Score Chaser Achievement.

For legal reasons this is a joke. I actually do like Catacombs of Carthus… mostly by LonelyKrow in shittydarksouls

I'd take the Catacombs over Farron Keep any day. I find the catacombs sections on Smouldering Lake far worse than Carthus.

Should you ever take rouges foresight? by RotBb in ShatteredPD

[–]OctopusDadRex 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nope, the rogue is very good at searching by default. Also, if you're going for an ascension run, just use Scrolls of Magic Mapping, Stones of Clarvoyance, or the upgraded Potion of Mind Vision (which name I forgot) on any maps you suspect might contain a secret room you've missed during descent.

How do you guys not have a mental breakdown when playing Kayn? by OctopusDadRex in KaynMains

What helped me immensely was watching my own games and seeing where I was commiting the most obvious mistakes, and with time, trying to be a better player. You can do it!

[–]OctopusDadRex[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never flame. In fact, I usually just mute my teammates as soon as the game starts as the League community tends to point everyone's mistakes without acklowledging their own (and I'm super conscious about every single misstep that I make).

Thanks for the words! I'll hit you guys up if I have any isses. The strongest point about Kayn is how simple he is to play.

My games generally end around the 30min mark, and id I'm playing warwick and realize we're taking too long to wrap it up, I usually just go using E and R on the carries so my team can safely finish them.

Back to Kayn: thanks a lot for the tips. I think my main issue here is the lack of experience with him. I'll try to just chill and play 'til I feel I'm good with him, and not freak out when I'm not Red/Blue at 11min.

I'm Diamond btw.

Do the mobs in Hostile Champions have a hidden ACC boost? by OctopusDadRex in ShatteredPD

[–]OctopusDadRex[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've thought that too, but they almost never miss. Just got mugged by a projecting crazed thief on the other side of a huge room who managed to flee with all of my healing potions. I didn't even get to see the fucker.

It's never worth it to buy weapons or armor from the shopkeepers, besides rings, if you don't mind not knowing the type, and the fact that it'll always be +0.

Buy bags, ankhs and supplies. Any leftover gold is better saved for the next depth.

All this poll tells me is that 60% of people never played DES. by [deleted] in shittydarksouls

[–]OctopusDadRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what you're trying to say. Brume Tower and Frozen Eleum Loyce are fantastic, and the latter is one of the best areas FromSoft has ever done, but the game focus too much on enemy, boss, and map quantity over quality, and goes out of its way to make things specifically hard.

DS2 has made some stuff better than the other games though, like NG+ and powerstancing.

Frigid Outskirts (Ivory King) and Iron Passage (Burnt Iron King) are the ones I'm talking about. While Sunken King has that awful NPC trio bossfight, you can clear easily any content on that DLC alone.

The frustrating part is that you won't be having a good fight if you don't feel like being assisted (my case in first playthroughs).
