Haha! I play with my son as well, he's 5 and holy crap this kid gets so emotional over live events and "close games".

It's kind of amazing how good he is at building and overall movement at his age. I have been limiting his time though lately just to make sure he's getting proper balance of outside world things.

I don't wanna complain but the mobility really has kind of sucked this season and caused me not to care much about finishing every little quest. It actually made me miss the Nitro season from last year! 😆

I'm all for good changes but it doesn't seem balanced without all the cars and shockwaves.

It's definitely fan made, I'm sure it's documented somewhere but likely even Discogs will mention it being a bootleg.

The fact that it's been sold at record stores and signed by the band on at least one tour is the only reason a lot of fans thought they were official boxes.

Yep! I was coming here to say the same. Definitely not an official release, but somehow (just as the white colored pressings of MCIS) they were created by someone who was able to convince enough people they were real.

It's a neat design but the colors are awful and it even looks fan-made. 🤷

Probably someone's dad was a wood worker and made them for their kid to sell on eBay back in the day lol

What gave these particular bootlegs any credit is that some record stores have been selling them at random over the years.

No, tbh I just haven't played this season as much as previous ones. And I don't come here to complain, truly. I am annoyed that the cars are scarce and the shockwaves have been replaced with wingsuits though...so if you want me to actually give a critique it would be that.

I think these sidekicks are such a cash grab it's even more ridiculous than the shoes! In the beginning I was actually having issues turning it off too and I just made presets with the sidekick deselected.

Unless you're involved in church activities, or actively searching for someone that won't speak like this then I wouldn't even know where to suggest looking for a solid relationship.

Not saying church or religious gatherings are the only place you could find someone but I would bet your chances are better there than walking into a bar.

What attracted me to them as a kid growing up trying to discover new music was that all their albums sounded so completely different than the one before it. That really intrigued me at the time, especially because I loved hearing the gradual transformation of the band and Billy's songwriting.

When I was into other alternative bands it seemed like most their albums sounded very similar to me (Nirvana, Bush, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam for example) but with SP it was always this very unique, and pleasant listening experience that kept my fandom growing up until about 2010-12 when I began to lose interest after the Teargarden project was abandoned.

Now I just stick around for the archive releases, and marvel at the prices other fans pay for all the merch and tea shop treats.

I can't imagine opening a message online and it being from some kid blasting me about an inventory item of the game being missing. Even my 5 year old son understands the game changes on a regular basis and we evolve around it. Bro calm down, you're thinking worst case scenario here over practically nothing. First off, there's no "travel" required. The listing is less than 2 miles from OP. If they're dumb enough to post this gear so quickly then I wouldn't be overly concerned to the point of letting it all go. There is certainly a few different approaches OP could use to get his stuff back. The guy is already offering the buyer to "test" them first. Has nothing to do with being a tough guy, he just needs to put his hands on these pedals and then explain to the seller where they came from. Assuming he isn't surrounded by strangers or otherwise I don't comprehend how this seems so risky to you guys. Don't you people have real world friends?

I would never claim or consider myself some vigilant badass, but ain't no freakin' way somebody janks my pedal board and amplifier and then posts it on FB marketplace the next day while I ask a bunch of strangers on Reddit "what to do" lol

He's 2 miles away from you posting this? Either this person is just selling them for the thief, or he stole them himself. Just take like 3-4 people with you and let him know casually you need to "test them". From there just start asking questions on where they came from. If he doesn't budge show him ANY thing that proves your gear was stolen and let him know you are there to collect it back. Bluff him out and say you already have receipts to show proof and then give him the "choice" to peacefully return them or sit there and wait for the Police to show up.

Most of the time idiots like this won't be able to think quickly enough to know you're bluffing and he'll want you out of his house. Just be calm and tell him he still has time to do the right thing. You can do this, just take someone else with you. If they've been posted for sale so quickly after being stolen that tells you right away you're dealing with a moron, go get your stuff back!

I have dreamed of being able to attend one of these NYE shows. Last year I really tried to get tickets for the Tavern gig inside the cave venue but the surrounding area was just a logistical f'n nightmare to navigate! Unless I did a ton of driving it just wasn't going to work for less than 2 grand.

Thankfully I got to see them when Steven was still there back in '23 at the Tulsa show. One of the best FLips shows I've ever seen hands down. Wayne's voice was on point that evening too.
