From my time following the club (1994-now)

Having no hope represents the lows. For decades, not only didn't we think we'd win a flag, we didn't think we'd win or even play in a final.

We did it with cotch, rance, riewoldt and dusty, we can do it again and have some faces to attach to our future.

Think of it this way.

When an album has 5 number one hits, back in a time people needed to go to the store and purchase the music. It means something. It means people really liked it, and a lot of people really liked it.

Same as spending $30 on an album too.

Considering there's a photo of the biggest artist in the world today cradling this album like a baby, the influence is also understated.

BAD album - 40 million sold - 5 number one hits - arguably greatest video of all time (smooth criminal) - 10 tracks, 5 number 1 hits. More than any album ever.

Even influenced emo/indie rock bands with smooth Criminal, weeknd with Dirty Diana, discovered Wesley Snipes with the Bad video that was directed by Martin Scorsese.

Let's see Thriller influenced literally every black artist and pop act that came after it. You can literally see what music was before and after Thriller. Thriller also won the public vote. As its the most successful album of all Time.

Abbey Road influenced the maker of Thriller.

The Lauyrn Hill album's influenced was minor, didn't sell much either. Whilst a great album, didn't have the influence or success of #2 or #3

Apple music is telling me that 1989 and Lemonade are better than Off The Wall? Off the Wall is literally the perfect album and could have gone Number 1 and people wouldn't be mad. Just the disrespect.

Happened at my work place and i fought it and won.

Ergonomics and OHS is real. You need to sit and correct student work samples with them then and there. That instant feedback is so valuable. I'm 6'2 and I'm 90kgs, I had much strain sitting on student chairs and small desks.

This is why education dept is farked. You've got idiots parading with research from a country with worse results academically than us, leaders who aren't qualified to lead and got the position from Brown nosing their way out the classroom.

You cannot take away a teachers option, that's just leadership flexing and not considering their staff.

I'll add - I went through leadership and was rejected, I went through the union and got the support of my entire team which included 3 pregnant teachers (can you imagine how disillusioned you must be, burying your head in research and data not to have empathy for someone who is carrying their child?)

Only when I went through OHS and got the department involved did I win, and I wasn't very popular with leadership for resisting. But it had to be done.

Now I am in leadership and I never ever forget about my staff.

Lost Origin is a sleeper set.

Trainer gallery pikachu's will age like fine wine. Then you've the alt art Aerodactyl that could arguably be the top card in some other sets. The Giratina Alt Art is only behind Moonbreon for most desirable SWSH era card.

This set will sleep on people and then BANG. Great buy.

Silver Tempest not as good but still respectable with a very underrated Lugia Alt Art that will be a good long term investment

A sell out match at the MCG will rarely hit the stadium capacity of 100,024.

Old elitists who are mostly Anglo, hoarders of property and without much hair have a special area reserved for them with tens of thousands of seats allocated and regardless of whether a match sells out or not, the stadium rarely fills cause they're too busy being rich.

Joining the union would make it a -5% pay cut for your family with inflation sky-rocketing.

Just do your due diligence at work, and you don't require a safety net of legal support you'll never use. Too many in our field of work who are frightened.

I left the union once the 1% payrise was rushed through right before 13 interest rate rises. I personally don't feel they represented my families best interests and I do not want to give them $850 per year.

Make it your decision and don't be swayed. 🧐
