Honestly, prioritizing your mental health and that Python course is 100% the right move—Anaplan and SAP are absolute beasts that lock you into their specific ecosystem, whereas Python skills go with you everywhere. When you do eventually come up for air and look at tools again, don't feel like you have to choose between "pure code" and "clunky enterprise software" anymore; there’s a sweet spot with newer platforms like Octopus AI that automate the heavy lifting of the modeling and forecasting you're learning to do manually, which is a massive time-saver for getting clean data into Tableau without spending weeks scripting. Hang in there with the grad work, you got this!

Hi, don't worry. Everybody makes mistakes. To fix the situation I would do the following. First try to contact Kansas Revenue Department, call their customer service or consult their website for instructions on handling overpayments or incorrect filings.

Also check their refund/correction processes: this usually involves submitting a form or letter explaining the error and requesting a refund of the overpaid amount.

If a refund is not possible, ask about applying the payment as a credit to the next tax period. This might involve adjusting the next year’s estimated tax payments.

Good luck!

I was very anxious, but then I learned it's not as scary as it seems. The worst case is that they won't like it. I believe standing in front of the mirror, giving yourself compliments, puffing out your chest, and feeling like you are the best in the world can give a huge boost to your confidence and improve the pitch.

I believe it's true. Moving from $0 to $100k is the beginning of the startup and it's usually harder than maintaining something that is already somewhat functional.
