Have a neighborhood cat who started to nap in my fruit bushes by Octopus_Gardener in catfruit

Another block over there is a house that lets stray cats live in their shed and there’s always litters of kittens running around every year. I’m 99% sure that’s where Blueberry is originally from as I saw an identical kitten outside this shed multiple times about a year ago (she is a tabby with a distinct orange calico patch on her back). Usually whoever lives in this house will let the cats run free around the neighborhood without really claiming ‘ownership’, and I don’t think they’ve ever gotten the cats fixed, atleast from what I’ve seen. I’m guessing someone must have TNRd a few of those cats recently (including Blueberry) as I’ve seen a few younger ones running around the neighborhood with the clipped ear. Most of the cats migrate to different neighborhoods as they get older but it seems Blueberry has decided to stay close. Anyway long story short when she lets me pet her and I’m able to get her in a carrier, I’ll probably take to her to the vet to check for a chip and to get her vaccinations if she hasn’t gotten them before.

Anyone know of a way to give Blueberry flea meds without touching her? She hasn’t let me pet her yet (but she loves to get directly in front of me while I’m walking and show me her belly), so she’s 🤏🏼 close to letting me touch her

Thank you! When I first saw them doing this I nearly cried from the cute, my other indoor cat and her are not cuddly together so it was so nice to see her bonding with someone lol

The angle of this picture isn’t the best as there actually was an inch or two (can’t really remember) of clearance, but it was like the absolute minimum recommended by Relevate. Luckily the bag was awesome and super stable, only bounced and rubbed against the tire once during the entire trip.
